@@SanjayC Actually, after checking pretty much all your related videos overnight, I'm back with a question! I came here looking for a APC 25 keys review but thanks to you I discovered Arturia minilab mk2, and it really triggered me! In the past I used APC mini on Ableton and loved the workflow. Now I'm looking for a small keyboard, planning to use Ableton and Reaper too. Do you reckon it would make sense to pair the two (minilab and APC mini) to have full control of Ableton scenes and have that amazing 'stop all tracks' 'solo' buttons and faders, or I could achieve pretty much the same results with Minilab only? Thank you in advance if you'll have time to answer to this :)

I have a launchpad mk2, and I like it, but I'm thinking of getting the ATOM. It's like a mini launchpad with nicer pads on it (at least compared to the mk2 pads, maybe not the X/pro mk3.) I was thinking of getting an akai mpd218, but that doesn't really have the ableton integration, and I've heard mixed stuff about the pads. I know the price of the atom is the same as launchpad X, but I don't really want to go from a mk2 to X, I'd rather get the pro mk3 if I was getting another launchpad.

how are you feeling with mk2? im kinda in a pickle picking either mk2 or a mini mk3. I'm kinda beginner in producing music. But i would love to learn
@BlazertronGames2 ай бұрын
@@acheofficial6876 I'd recommend launchpad X or mini MK3. The MK2 is good, but the pads don't feel amazing, and to get the most use out of it, you need a third party script for ableton, which I've had crash a few times. Keep in mind, the MK2 and mini MK3 don't have velocity sensitivity, whereas the X does.

Hi Sanjay C, thanks for your videos. I started following your channel and videos and thanks to your advice I approached electronic music again (I bought an Arturia Essential 88 controller). Now I'd like to ask you another question: I'm planning to play live with a guitarist. The idea is to make performances where I can record loops (drums, bass, synths ...) on which we can then play over with the guitar and a keyboard sound (piano, organ, rhodes ...). What equipment do you recommend to buy? Again, the main focus is on live performance so I'm looking for something to complement the controller and the MacBook where Ableton works. Nothing professional, just for fun (maybe live session will remain in our studio!) Thanks again, you are really great!

SORRY BRO SO MANY QUESTIONS LATELY, THIS MIGHT EXPLAIN MY DELIMA BEST I will likely be getting a Push I do have some hard synths. Using PC Have a small keystep. So I've looked into an Oxygen, Launchkey, and some Arturia stuff, but don't know if I will need all those options if I have a Push. I like the keystep pro for controlling hard synths and it's got 4 tracks, however maybe that just needs to be a separate setup. Should I just get a nicer 49 or so midi keyboard without all the pads and such? Considering I will have a Push? Is it redundant to have a full featured midi keyboard along side the Push Should I get a fully featured midi keyboard and hold off on the Push? Certainly want something that works good in Ableton because I'm still learning it. I'm worried about these keyboards, some say pitch wheels not accurate, some say faders are horrible and so on.... Some have endless knobs, some don't, is that a major flaw? With a regular midi keyboard and a Push, what do you do about faders? So yeah I gotta upgrade from lite to suite, but need to know where to put my money Suite first, or Suite with Push package, or wait for possible Push 3, or fully functional keyboard now and Suite? Maybe a cool hard synth keyboard that also has midi, or with that take me away from nice integration with Ableton? If i do get full function midi keyboard i can pry go up to 500 bucks, but if the ones like oxygen are good, then fine, I just don't want crummy stuff, but I'm also not a baller. Any help thanks....
