EZNF 98 depends what plot would be. If S1 is the search, then at the finale of S1. Come to think of it, that would be a dope S1 finale with all the supposed work and patience being payed off. Also would leave room for S2 to be about defending Galaxy from extra-galactic threat from Unknown Region (likely Yu Zan Vong or what I’d imagine an AI like Skynet leading an entire military of advance droids beyond anything Galaxy could invent)

They also had lots of moments in the first episode of Season 4 other than the Ezra and Alrich’s interaction like the way they looked t each other when Ezra says “Blowing things definitely runs in your family” and she said “it’s a Wren specialty” or when earlier he stopped and turned around and talked to her about her planet right before Ursa came in...Also that look at the end of Heroes of Mandalore Part 2 when Bo Katan accepted the darksaber like it shows their connection without talking . The eye contact between them says it ALL😍😍

They've earned it because it is the ultimate example of a slow-burn romance done right. I was honestly relieved that they didn't shoehorn Sabine and Ezra becoming a thing into Rebels because it simply didn't fit; they were both still kids and were fighting a war and while they were so close by the end neither had the maturity or time to recognise the feelings that Rebels hinted at. Having their relationship as adults go from an established and developed friendship and comradery that fluidly carries over into romance is way better than just suddenly having them be "in love". They're both established, well-developed characters on their own and have a well-done relationship that hints at romance in the future without shoving in where it simply wasn't ready yet.

There is a lot of moments. During missions Sabine saves Ezra : 5 Ezra saves Sabine :7 5+7= 12 saves combined 4seasons. After Ezra left... Sabine followed her heart to stay Lothal for 5 years.. She's been wondering and thinking about Ezra for 5 years sleeping Ezra's bed inside of his Tower. And there is no doubt that she still have feelings for him because she missed him. I don't think she ignored it until he was gone. I think she was ignoring it until the mission was done. Emotional compartmentalization is a thing with people frequently in battle. If she didn't act on those feelings, give them weight, until their phase of the war was over (Lothal was free) then should something happen, the pain would not be as bad. I think that's part of what kept Ezra from coming right out with his obvious feelings too.

Sabine basically pulled a Hera; she ignored her feelings for the good of the mission/cause so that it wouldn't distract Ezra/Kanan and so she wouldn't have to put herself out there emotionally because of the high risk of losing the person you love in war.

It's funny how Dave Filoni wanted to show the possibility of a girl and a boy just having a deep friendship without any romantic intentions, thus accidentally creating the perfect couple to ship. It shows that the perfect relationship needs to have a true friendship as its fundament; that's why so many fans ship them. That being said, it makes sense for Filoni to say that at the finale of season 4, Sabine and Ezra are just friends. Unlike every other couple in Star Wars, they actually have a development: When Ezra first saw Sabine, he had a childish crush for her. The thing is that he wasn't ready for anything yet, he was still a child (an orphan to be precise, so his social skills were limited) so it makes sense that Sabine didn't think much of it. Further into the show, Ezra stops acting so childish (his accomplishments in his jedi training go hand in hand with his social development) and there is a point where Sabine sees him as somewhat of a little brother (she accepts him as part of the crew, but not as someone who can look out for himself; a kid that needs protection). In season 3 things take a turn for the better: Ezra keeps growing to his full potential and acts wiser in every possible way (if the jedi order would still exist you could say that he slowly reaches the ending of his padawan training) and Sabine sees that. Ezra outgrows his "little brother"-figure and becomes a potential partner for Sabine. They spend more time together on missions, always getting paired together and looking out for each other, which forms a strong bond of trust between the two of them. Ezra obviously liked Sabine from the beginning, while Sabine (being a Mandalorian) never admitted to any kind of emotions. She never talks about what's bothering her. That being said it's obvious why Ezra and Sabine never talked about their relationship (what every form that may be): Their "love language" is their bodies and eyes; they show the "unspoken" through their actions and eye contact. So in a way, the season 4 ending with Ezra and Sabine seeing each other (deep emotional eye contact) without speaking a single word is a better pay-off than any kiss would be, because Filoni not only kept a door open for many possibilities (and theories), but he also stayed true to his characters and how they behave and interact.

This. 👏🏻 Is. 👏🏻 It. 👏🏻 Perfect. 👍🏻 My thoughts exactly. When you watch the whole series through, this is the exact story arc you get about them. I would also say that, if you think about Trials of the Darksaber, Sabine has WALLS. It’s not just that she’s Mandalorian - on top of that she also has her guilt/shame for running away to the Empire, building the weapon & hurting her people, her family’s betrayal, running away again, getting left for dead by her only friend (Ketsu), and then who knows what else before she gets to the Ghost. Hera reminds Kanan that it took so much for her to trust them. There’s no way she’d be open to a romance. It’s after Trials and healing the rift with her family - where she TOO grows up somewhat - that their relationship starts changing. Did you ever see the S4 trailer: “a boy who was lost and a girl who was broken”. They BOTH had a lot of healing and growing up to do, and it is just incredible storytelling! Totally the best romance in SW. I think the challenge now is how to overcome the time/distance/circumstances since his disappearance. So many story possibilities!!

Their light teasing of each is also a good indicator that a deeper bond was forming. Like the time where the team is in the sewers and Sabine comments on it smelling like Ezra and he retorts “You know what I smell like?”. Later when Ezra voices his concern of splitting up, Sabine says “I know your smell, remember?”.

Ah, finally my the most favourite topic on your channel :-) Years passed and I still ship Sabezra/Ezrabine. I believe that Ezra really had romantic feelings for Sabine for a long time. I believe that during later seasons, mostly in Seaaon 4, Sabine felt the same way about him, but she just didn’t want to show it too much, because of the fight with the Empire. I think that at first, Sabine didn’t like him much, later she considered him only as a younger brother, but when Ezra grew up, she started to have romantic feelings for him.

5 years after Ezra lefted Lothal.. Sabine looks sad and truly missed about Ezra right on the inside. She was a jerk for ignoring him until season 3 and 4 she started trust him and mostly love him.. she had full regrets in the past for being a jerk but when she finally realized and turn things around she wants to take everything back .because she wants him back to reveal her feelings... I can totally tell that she loved him.. There is a second chance since Ahsoka arrived to pick her up to go find Ezra.

Nope, Ezra has kinda give up, in the way that he doesn't care one way or another, he clearly prefers one outcome, but he is fine if it is not that one, that has been that way since season 3, and is then when things really developed, the ask is because he knew he will end up lost in space, and he just trust her more than anyone else, Kanan is not there anymore, the rest of the crew is close to him but not as close, he trusted her enough for her to distract everyone while he went to confront the empire alone, with just one look, to develop love, a true bond, there are steps, and the first one is to be friends you can trust blindly, that is the point they are at the end of rebels. And she repays that trust, because after that battle the whole crew gets separated, she keeps his expectations, she does what she thinks he meant, I can see the reunion, "What took you so long?", as if it was a day and not several years, and her punching Ezra in the shoulder

I think one of the funniest and in the nose scenes is the one in the second arc with Saw, when they are in the antenna and they are seen by the light cruiser, and Ezra waves while Sabine facepalms because Ezra's action, and then when it is repeated in next episode when they are in the dead ship And the ghost is coming to the rescue and the scene just repeats, it is like seen a couple that has been with each other for a very long time, or the 2 friends that you just think "get a room already"

SO, I am way behind the curve on this subject but I did notice that in the Epilogue at the end of the last episode, we see that Sabine repainted her armor and her helmet. The dots over her eye slits on the helmet were orange/red but now they are blue and match Ezra's eyes in the painting. Just a little detail I thought was worth mentioning.

Here's the way I saw it: it was very clear, from the beginning, that Ezra had a bit of a crush on Sabine, with her just rebuffing his advances. But as time went on (especially in the last couple seasons), they really became more like brother and sister, or at the very least, close friends. Again just how I felt about it, and I'm not sure what the writers will do if they expand their story further. Either way, I'll be fine with whatever path they take with this.

One thing I noticed she cut her hair to make it look Similar to Ezra’s to honor his sacrifice to save his friends. In the new Ahsoka Tano trailer her hair is longer but I believe she has a love interest towards him still. I hope they reunite in the Ahsoka show. It would really be an emotional moment.

I think it would be nice to see Ezra and Sabine together, they have chemistry and history. Either way I would like to see new content with these two in it! I also I think it would be good for the new/future jedi to embrace love and relationships. Though I also want to see him and Ashoka open their own force academy, teaching both sides of the force and learning how to embrace both without succumbing to either. This is one thing of the 3 I didn't liked with ahsoka representation in mandalorian, first, the appearance, obviously, but that is extremely minor, but we have seen how she is supposed to look like at the end of rebels and even older in clone wars during the mortis arc, the next one is how she acted with all the jedi thing, is way different than during all the times she was called a jedi or not a jedi during rebels or clone wars, and the one that ties with this comment is the way she acted about the bonds and what they do, yeah, Anakin ended up as Vader, but Ezra had the bonds there, Kanan also had those bonds, and both did what they should do, not despite their bonds but because of them, and she saw what those bonds were able to accomplish, she saw Kanan's sacrifice in the world between worlds, she saw was Ezra accomplished, all because of their bonds, it just makes no sense why she acted like that, without rebels it would have been ok, but with rebels is not in character. Little thing, neither Ezra nor Ahsoka use the dark side, Ezra used it temporarily, between twilight of the apprentice and the beginning of season 3 and his natural skill is with the light side, animal friendship, I know it is one of the skill people mock, but that is his best light force ability, he use that constantly during the series and all the finale is based in his animal friendship ability.

Jedi mind trick is a dark side ability, you are imposing your will on someone else and forcing them to do their bidding. Not just that, but Ahsoka had seeds of the dark side in her from her master, you know Darth Vader... Ezra force dominated creatures while fighting the Grand Inquistor. Left him cold and drained. Ezra was also in possession of a Sith holocron, which he opened used and learned from..... Not to mention the unlocking of a Sith Temple something Vader hadn't been able to accomplish. Ever since she left the Jedi Order, Ahsoka has not referred to herself as a Jedi nor have others. Maul referred to her as a "part timer" while calling Ezra and Kanna Jedi. And in the Mandolarian she can't commit to Luke's Jedi order because she has unfinished business in Saving/finding Ezra. After that, and likely a force ghost talk with Anakin, she would be rdy to join Luke's Jedi order. Likely as the one to seek out young force sensitive and bring them to Luke. Aka she has issues she needs to work out before calling herself a Jedi, though one day she will. For looks....it's live action adaptation, it's a good as it will get. I always have issues with live adaptation of stuff, it's never perfect. I think Ahsoka could be a little older, but other than the minor issues with the live action adaptation is good enough. Bonds are simple to say, but hard to measure. Anakin had Palpatine playing him like a puppet since his birth. Probably manipulated his dreams to draw him to the dark side... Anakin had everyone he loved and care for betray him and was forced to make the hard decision, which was the wrong one. When Ezra was led astray he had Kanna, when Anakin was lead astray he had no one. When Kanna and Ezra lost their family and friends, they had the crew of the Ghost to he their family. Anakin had Palpatine...lol Strong Strong bonds can lead to the dark side as we seen with Anakin and Ezra. Doesn't have to with the right support, but has higher potential

There's also the one factor that no one is taking into account here, and it's by far the most important one. Everyone's forgetting that the very moment Ezra and Sabine reunite, Hera is going to immediately appear out of nowhere, glare at them, and say, "Now _kiss_ ." Think you could defy Space Mom at that moment? Yeah, right. But honestly, I still believe that it's the Hera/Kanan arc that is the reason Ezra/Sabine is happening. Story telling is all about setting up patterns, and then breaking that final pattern. Ideally, we would have had two loving relationships in the series that ended in tragedy, but unfortunately we only had the one: Hera and Kanan. And since we've already had the tragic love story in Rebels, then introducing another one would be pointless from a story point (unless it was being set up as the second tragic love story so that we can then be introduced to the third love that breaks the pattern. Let's hope Dave Filoni doesn't think of that...). To portray Ezra and Sabine as yet another tragedy would just be needless drama and sadness, and one that could easily backfire if the audience decides it's just blatant emotional manipulation. Now, it could be entirely written as being nothing but a platonic, almost sibling like relationship, but then Dave faces a different sort of backlash: he would have to somehow convince those of us who want this as somehow completely misinterpreting all those hints he gave throughout the series. There's no way he can explain those away as just "No no. You didn't actually see what you saw" handwaving. So, basically, he's stuck. He has no choice but to put them together in an actual romantic relationship. And I'll bet he's shaking his head slowly, snapping his fingers, and saying, "Oh, darn. Drat. Well, I guess I have no choice now."

Nah I disagree. Ezra was crushing on Sabine from day one. He just got better hiding it and she liked him as a friend up until season 4 where they did more personal missions. They had to work together more. Also Sabine was going through rough time because of mandalore and I think that where she got her appreciation for Ezra helping her, from her training with the blade to being their for her against her family. It was always in the making. They are the two youngest for a reason. It certainly didn’t follow heras and kanas trend. They were always old enough and had known each other way before they knew the other crew. Their romance was slowed down a bit due to the responsibility of the rebellion and actually looking after Sabin and Ezra. So they grew stronger because they were sort of acting like parents or parent figures. That’s my opinion.

Between them but what about Sabine’s concerned expression when ezra had moments I believe early in season 3 where he could have turned to the dark side and he use the force to blast the stormtroopers with the at-at after kanan was blinded by darth maul near the end of season two I believe. Honestly all I care about is when this goes to live action, I want it to be Tiya Sircar and Taylor Gray, or it's not going to feel like Ezra and Sabine to me. I need their voices. Same with Vanessa Marshall. If they replace Cara Dune with Hera, Vanessa should play Hera. She's already the right age and you can't have Hera without Vanessa's voice.

Yes it’s true that no not every guy and girl character need to end up together romantically (I’m looking at you Clare and Owen from Jurassic World, like seriously i couldn’t give two shits if your a couple). But not in this case, the two of them had amazing chemistry together in the last season, and really by the end of the final season I felt like they were where Kanan and Hera were in the first season. Having Ezra and Sabine get together, it could actually do something for Star Wars that’s never been done before. Actually have a couple with a well developed story who actually had a reason to be together. Not just another love at first sight story.

Agreed. Ezra clearly finds her attractive in the way many a freshman boy would be hormonal and attracted to a good-looking girl a few years older in high school. They became friends, and like siblings. I think she realizes his attraction and tries not to squash it to hurt him, since he's not acting on it, and as they move forward, they're more like family. I don't see the chemistry there like Hera and Kanan had.

This is my take on their relationship: Towards the beginning, Ezra has a sort of one-sided crush on Sabine, which she just finds amusing. He grows out of that, and that they grow to care for each other in a more sibling-like way. Except for the fact that he remembers that he used to have a crush on her, which produces some of the awkwardness in later seasons (e.g. "I'm not *with her* with her, I'm just friends. With her.")
