I use a mortar and pestle to grind it into a fine powder and add it to a drink with wheat grass juice powder, cinnamon, water, a shot of lemon juice and apple cider vinegar, mct oil, an oz or 2 of cranberry juice, and sweetened with honey and/or stevia.

Let me tell you, I noticed a huge difference in the tension in my throat. I haven’t had a panic/anxiety attack since. :). After 3 weeks I started taking benfotiamine 150mg twice daily so 300mg per day. I’m still taking them. So I take dr.Bergs vitamin B complex with benfotiamine. I finally feel good. I have so much energy. I’m back in the kitchen cooking and baking. Doing what I love. No more naps and most importantly no more panic attacks. I recently added dr. Bergs vitamin D,k2 to take after dinner. I hope this helps. God bless you.

Try canned salmon- it’s much less expensive. Just make sure it’s wild caught-most grocery store brands are. Make delicious salmon patties by adding an egg and a little flour or low carb substitute. I serve it with a dill sauce made from yogurt and or sour cream with dried or fresh dill and a splash of lemon juice. It’s tasty enough to serve to guests. Also it’s delicious made into a dip, a seafood soup, added to a salad, served as a taco, etc. My cat also loves it as a treat - but don’t feed it every day to cats as all salmon contains some mercury. I still buy frozen salmon fillets, but cannned salmon lets me have this nutritious fish more often. You can also buy canned mackerel and use it in a similar way to I described with the salmon.

I can’t tolerate nutritional yeast, I get over stimulated from tiny amounts (it has to do with mthfr mutation, and liver detoxification issues, it’s the b5 +b6 that trigger me). I do notice my sleep is better if I take b1 before bed, I will try macadamia nuts.
@TickedAF4 жыл бұрын
You definitely want to look into riboflavin if you haven't already. Chris Masterjohn has a video discussing the possibility that MTHFR is actually a riboflavin deficiency, and that you can "repair" the enzyme function by consuming more riboflavin. Long story short, it's possible people with MTHFR have higher riboflavin requirements, and symptomatic people may have poor status with that nutrient that's causing methylation to fail.
@Matthew-eq9eb4 жыл бұрын
are you sure it isn't fortified nutrional yeast, why would natural b5 + b6 effect mthfr mutation if its natural not the synthetic vitamins added to the yeast
@luvyou-baby4 жыл бұрын
Gonzo School thank you for that information.I did an OAT test,and it did show that I’m low on vitamin b2. I’m taking the version of it that u mentioned, but in small amounts cuz I’m not sure how much my body needs and I don’t want to unbalance the other B vitamins. I need to find a functional medicine doctor that understands mthfr mutation, and detoxification issues. It’s not easy to find, and it’s really expensive, not to mention the costs of the tests that they do.
@luvyou-baby4 жыл бұрын
Matthew it’s not, I bought it specifically so it won’t have b12 cuz I can’t tolerate it either. I mentioned I have detoxification issues, so I’m not sure why my body is reacting this way.
@TickedAF4 жыл бұрын
@@luvyou-baby If you don't have enough riboflavin you can't utilize most of the B vitamins correctly. Folate and B6 are the biggest offenders, but if your B6 status is effected due to low riboflavin, you won't absorb and utilize B12 effectively. How small is your dose? It could be too low to have an effect on a longstanding deficiency. Definitely check out the video "Keto/Carnivore Dandruff, Dry Skin & Seborrheic Dermatitis Part 1: Riboflavin Deficiency" by EOnutrition. If you're on Keto, the riboflavin issue is going to be even bigger.

1 oz or 28.35 grams of flaxseeds gives 0.5mg or 39%. Compare that to 6oz salmon (expensive) or 0.6gm 6oz pork (unhealthy) or 1.1mg _6oz of flaxseed_ - *3mg* What's better and cheaper?

That sucks; tea is helping me quit alcohol. Guess I'll just drink juice, lol
@JYAN28523 жыл бұрын
@@brandoncobb4646 Tea is actually better than juice you don't have to quit tea. Tea does have its benefits just don't drink it with any foods or supplements. You could also consider magnesium (nano liquid, glycinate, or threonate forms) supplementation to quit alcohol. It's known to help people sleep better and less desire to have alcohol.

Dr Berg, I need your help! I’ve been suffering from GERD since November of 2023. Now this wouldn’t be such a huge issue but last summer I got in a power line accident and since then I have panic attacks. Since this GERD issue they happen more frequently and the problem is worse than it needs to be. I’ve been to doctors and GI specialists but they treated it as nothing and I’ve been dealing with this without their help. Anything you can recommend?

What is the best bio-available vitamin B1-12? For instance, B12 I heard that Methylcobalamin is better absorbed than the B12 used in a lot of vitamin supplements & what are the recommended daily doses. I'm looking to find the best multi-vitamin Bs that don't have excessive amounts of these vitamins and cost a lot especially B1 & B12
