Zenith Defy model all day, every day. It has incredible heritage and is still the most underrated. It comes from the bloodline of the legendary Zenith Defy A3642 of 1969. The watch that was to inspire Gentas Royal Oak of 1972.

Great list…I know you like/own the Santos…. My long time, friend and fellow watch geek bought one, and I tried it on… I just get it. For the price it seems like a Watch that has an identity crisis… Like a dress watch that wants to be sporty? No, I feel like my Rolex submariner has an integrated bracelet… It’s almost impossible to put a strap on, and the strap wears out almost immediately because of the very sharp lugs. I’m told they did that on purpose because they don’t want you to put it on a bracelet…

@@Kareem-xp3wbone to consider for around the same price is a Chopard Alpine eagle, I owned one in 41 mm. Wears really big, but if you have medium size wrists at least, it’s a really good option

For around the price of a top tier zenith defy, you can get a Girard perregaux laureato or a Chopard alpine eagle. For around the price of a Tudor, you can get a Baume et mercier Riviera or Maurice Lacroix Aikon
