I learned a lot there. Thank you. It was very enjoyable to watch too.

Nice to see you are using a decent filler for a change ,i use tupret all the time best there is
@paulf2529Ай бұрын
Agree, I find the properties of the toupret, particularly the finish and lack of slumping to be superb. Easy to forget how good it is until I run out and have to use easifill or polyfiler trade!
@PaintingandDecoratingАй бұрын
Yes it's okay slightly different than pollyfilla easy sand. No issues with either, but no priming is a bounce. Thanks

@@paulf2529only toupret product I dislike is their skim coat one in the big tub, bubbles like mad first coat and still sometimes on the second

Did you use any foam in that long cable chase, or is it all filler?
@MrKlonckyАй бұрын
You done a very neat and tidy job there, excellent well done. My stupid, tiny and petty criticism which will bug you and others out there is only that... Where the conductors pass through the 'blanked off' box and continue to the double socket below... They should pass through a bit of plastic conduit. Because the outer Grey insulation has been removed and so only the red and black single layer of insulation is now the only barrier between the copper and the filler/plasterboard. Like I say it's a very tiny defect, that only a very picky electrical inspection would perhaps question. But for the sake of five inches of plastic tube (small 70mm bit in the top box, and another 40mm but between the two boxes is easily fitted, & would save any arguments later. Sorry to be that guy... But I know any decent electricians out there will have noticed that.
@MrKlonckyАй бұрын
And a second tiny petty observation is that the top double box is a metal enclosure which is now forming part of the electrical system because the cables are passing through it, therefore the regs would say that it should be connected to earth to remove any possible eddy currents. I hate that I know these petty things.
@PaintingandDecoratingАй бұрын
@@MrKloncky it's okay I've seen far worse done by electricians. In fact if their work was checked more often I think we'd have less electricians. The stuff I come across would shock you. Also nothing is touching the wires in the video plus no-one will ever drill above a socket. Thanks

Lovely job 👍! Not sure about the sparky though 😂
@PaintingandDecoratingАй бұрын
@@darrenpaulgreen thank you ... The conduit for the wires is not compromised wires can easily be changed. The problem finding is wire to wire not through plaster. No problem for the sparky. Thanks

Not sure what you mean because I've not broken any wires. Nothing is interrupted no issues. They test wires no plaster.
