Top MAJOR Features Not in iPad DaVinci Resolve!

With the edit page we could do keyframe editing , for me I could go without the edit page but at least have a keyframe control option. And I guess multicam, that sync is ok but is manual so...

how do you make Davinci Resolve 18 free version on iPad export still image after editing in a readable format ( jpeg ) etc,

The edit page is in there. Just plug in a keyboard, then bring up the shortcuts window, assign a keyboard shortcut to the edit page (or any other page that’s missing, including fusion) then execute that short cut and voila! Edit page appears and can be used. Please note that when you unplug the keyboard the edit page will stay there BUT it will vanish if Resolve crashes or is restarted on the iPad. Just plug in the keyboard and repeat the steps and you’re off and running!

We’re about one week from this app being released, I can’t wait for these features to be added when it comes out or when they get added overtime.

if you've got a second display connected you can long press in the viewer to send a video clean feed! but right now using stage manager and a second screen the full can't go fullscreen on the second monitor which is definitely needed. and honestly I take BMD at their word that their commitment is to pretty radically beef up the cut page, but several years down the line once all that is done I could really see them deciding to throw the edit page over just because they can. Right now my #1 want is for the fusion overlay to come to the cut page. especially while we're waiting on the full fusion page we can add sooo much functionality using presets and plugins if we get that overlay

I agree there is no fullscreen on an external monitor and that would be great. Where are you long pressing in the viewer? Does it make a pop-up? Thanks

I see, he was casting his monitor to an external tv looks like via airplay. I was looking for using one of my 4k monitors. Ill figure it out.

Thanks for the reply. I used davinci a long time ago barely, so you could say I’m a newbie. However, i know programs and can pick up very quickly by seeing someone do it. The video example is from someone who is a professional video editor and is not really explaining how he is doing things but kinda is. I can figure it out. Thanks again.

I can't find voice isolation I'm using the free resolve version on ipad pro 2020 Is this feature exclusive to m series ipads or is it exclusive to the paid version of resolve?

hmmm Im guessing if you do not see it at all its probably a M series feature. if it were a studio paid feature you would see it but just need to purchase in order to enable. the fact that you don't see it at all makes me think when you download the app on a non M iPad it downloads a more limited version.
