I haven't entirely given up on RSD. I did stand in line a couple times a few years ago, whatever year The Crow soundtrack came out and then for Skid Row Slave to the Grind, but after that nothing made me want to get up at 5 am to stand around. I go in after the rush and see what's left. Sometimes I buy something, most times I leave empty handed. They are getting more and more expensive as well. This past April RSD they had the Queensryche Operation Mindcrime 2 and where I went they even had one. I went to grab it and then saw the price. $79.99. I nearly crapped my pants. No way I was paying that much for an album that wasn't even that good. So I'll go in after I get out of work. Maybe I'll leave with something, but probably not.

Never really cared that much for RSD,i wish there was new album releases on RSD that would certainly make for an exciting day worth the early wake up to go line up at your local record store.

I don’t see anything that made my jaw drop. That’s usually my criteria for wanting something on RSD. Case in point was DIO’S Live in Fresno album earlier this year.

I could be wrong, but I don’t believe UK does the traditional “Black Friday” that US does, so they usually don’t have any exclusive releases in November. I’m excited for the Death and Napalm Death since I haven’t gotten around to getting those yet but overall extremely lackluster list.

Ive never heard that Steeler. Any good? I like old school Keel and Yngvie at times. Maybe more for nostalgia. Funny Rob picture. I already have a reissue of the Napalm Death record. Love the Crue might grab that if its a different mix or master of those tracks. Sacrilege record looks pretty killer. Nice rundown!

It’s closer to Keel in sound, but you get Yngwie noodling here and there as well. I’m definitely a fan of the first two Keel albums, and dig this album just as much.

"Somewhat pointless" is a good description for RSD in my opinion anyway, if they called it Record Label Day instead I'd have more respect for it. The Motley EP would be tempting but I bet it's priced more like a LP though. Hope you get what you're after!

Due to the abhorrent prices for all of the releases i did not buy anything at the last RSD and i won't be buying anything this black friday. A shame that the quality hasn't improved as much as the cost of the records.
