Glad I could help. I decided not to have the unit working after ignition shut down as the XKR is susceptible to Battery issues when standing for any extended length of time. Even though the Dash Cam has built in protection. With that said if a car is in daily use then the kit is agood idea.

Stays plugged into the cig lighter socket. It does not have a battery

Yes, 32 GB will work for you provided you don't go on long trips or want to refer to footage that is more than a day or so old. The 32 Gb card will only hold so much footage before it is overwritten. I hav eno way of knowing long many hours can be retained on a 32Gb card, but you could test that after say a week of use of the 32 Gb card and check the oldest footage still on the card.

Today I had the first experience with it, really great image, met my expectations, I can identify the license plate of the car that is in front of mine. I intend to buy another one to put in the back of the car. Any suggestions for a 256 GB class 10 or higher Micro SD card to work with this camera?

From memory they have a rear camera attachment. But I think it is only 1080p. I would contact the supplier and ask about 4k
