So it worked then. Going to prison was a good thing for you, that is what I hear you saying. It sounds like you were a vulgar, rude and nasty cat that nobody liked. Prison beat the fuck out of you for being vulgar and rude so you learned some manners. That sounds like the system worked for Chris. Yay, rah rah. I've found that former inmates regularly do the complete opposite of their learned prison program behavior just because they can. I am not talking about the positive ones - e.g. grooming, cleaning, working out, courtesy for cohabitants, etc. - but stuff like eating and showering quickly. I looove my long showers and I eat way slower than all of my friends just because those little things bring me so much joy now that I am free!

I just don't concern myself with other people's business. I'll never forget the time I was at the grocery store waiting in line and the person just finished paying and was pushing their cart away when the person behind them says to the cashier..."Uh..he didn't pay for that!" while pointing to the case of coke on the bottom of his cart. They have to have a warrant to tear your shit up. Even if they find something, a good lawyer can get it dismissed, as long as it isn't something crazy pertaining to national security. This one is huge. I went to rehab and this OG northerner snapped on me for standing behind him while we was in the rec room watching TV. We also lived in the same housing unit and later he came up and explained why he did it and he forgets most of us only had a couple nights in county at most so we had no way of knowing. But I have so much respect for that man even today. He didnt care how serious you were about rehab, didnt care about your skin color, didnt care about politics or nothing. Just respect and live by the golden rule and its all good. Steve I know you hated the internet but if you ever come across this god bless you brother I hope all is well carnal.
