The Peterson is an amazing venue, not a cheap Museum to visit ..it's cattle corner to the Los Angeles County Museum with the light pole installation... what are those iconic Googleable picture places... a constant stream of cars, stopping there Ubers so they can photograph their friends... I can't imagine somebody that would have the room huge display.. at their home...Laxvespa--LosAngeles

First edition books that are actually from the country of origin are typically stated first edition thus which indicates that, that is the first country the book is published in.

Actually not wanting to argue, but I've always thought that meant it is the first print of a given edition- in other words, let's say a book came out in 1920 in hardcover by Scribner's, and then in 1925 by G&D. And Grosset kept it in print for 20 years with multiple versions- the first print of the G&D would be called a "first thus" as it's not a true first of the overall book (that would be the Scribner's), but it's the first of the Grosset. I will have to look into that more when I have time. Ha!
