After years of painful frustrating practice and watching countless videos plus the coaching from members and other coaches at my gym, I finally got the EXACT tip I needed from this video! Seeing when I need to jump was the missing piece! I can string 20 together now! This was probably the most frustrating skill I have ever learned. I wish I found this video years ago! Thank you so much!!!!! Now it’s just fine tuning my technique & form.

That is awesome! Well done, and I'm delighted this video was helpful on your learning journey. Good things, Andrew P.S. I wrote an uplifting tale about a boy who lacks self-belief and struggles with bullying and weight issues. His life is forever changed when he meets a substitute teacher with a passion for jumping rope who teaches him several life lessons by way of teaching him how to jump rope. Certainly, timing and good form. Speed is another thing, but not so important. Great tip and approach, thanks.

Beautiful Wisteria vines in the school yard overhanging the cement stands. Bet they look amazing in bloom. Hope to master double unders soon. I tend to raise my arms when attempting and my feet get tangled in the rope. Thanks for the tips.

Hi JohnQuincy, nice to hear from you again. I agree, the vines are great. With practice and patience, I'm sure you'll master double unders. I will at some stage make some more double unders "how to/help" videos. The unorthodox technique covered in this video can be really helpful in trying to help eliminate raising ones arms when spinning the rope: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqSwpJlrZ5amoJI&list=PLZ-WVpIl4S5hbtDUqpMB8yRFijVJA5Ppf&index=16
