The helmet was out of balance because it only had order. Fate represents order, but he wasn't good nor evil. You both need order and chaos to keep the world in balance.

I can summarize some of the most brutal Villain defeats: DareDevil Killing bullseye, Hulk brutalizing Abomination for poisoning Betty Ross before Red Hulk kills Abomination, Wally West forcing Inertia to live the rest of his life as a frozen Statue in a museum, Superman killing Joker, and My favorite, Spider-Man giving Kingpin the beating of his life.

Peter Parker putting the beatdown on Kingpin was more of a psychological win. Up until that point, Kingpin has always assumed that he would be able to at least give Spidey a run for his money in a fight. He never realized just how much Spidey always holds back. So when a pissed off Peter Parker manhandles Kingpin in front of his prison goons without even breaking a sweat or cracking any of his usual jokes, he is not only physically broken, but especially mentally. Peter humiliated him in a fight in front of his subordinates who will have a very hard time ever respecting him again. Not because he lost to him in a fight, but because of how he lost. Peter didn't fight seriously. To him, it was the equivalent of giving the Kingpin a few bitchslaps. He basically removed one of Fisk's biggest assets. The ability to intimidate. His men will always remember that Spidey can bring him to his knees any time he so chooses and that Fisk is not nearly as threatening as he would like to make it seem. And without that intimidation factor, without that respect, Kingpin is nothing.

I always found extremely fascinating the relationship between the Flash(es) and the Rogues.

Something you kind of skipped over is that Peter took off the suit because the suit represents the justice and the responsibilities that Uncle Ben gave him and told him about the suit represents the great power comes with great responsibility mentality and so too utterly humiliate and terrify Kingpin wearing the suit would go against everything Spider-Man stands for Another thing you didn't really mention with it was the moment he took off the suit all of the prison inmates were thinking kingpins going to win by a landslide and then Peter utterly just decimated the man and you can see in the times it pans over to the inmates they realize just how much Strength Peter Parker,and by extension Spider-Man, has and it immediately makes them realize he's been holding back massively. even in the fight with Kingpin he's. still. *holding back* .

It also represents a distinction between Peter and Spidey. It was a warning to the rest of people after his identity was revealed not to confuse Peter's friends and allies for Spidey's.

My favorite neutral batman beat down is a cheat. The Thomas Wayne batman from Flashpoint, when he shot reverse flash though the head, and reverse flash slowed his own time to prolong the seconds of his death into years. Imagine having to use all your power to bit stop your death, but only delay it. Especially for someone like Eobard.

I think Superman killing the Joker in Injustice was a win for the Joker, He'd been trying to get Bats to do that for years. For me one of the best Supes Joker fights was in Max Landis's one shot Adventures of Superman #14. It also has another brutal fight between Superman and the Atomic Skull which both agree to never talk about

Yeah, Injustice was the Joker's ultimate victory. While it may not have been against Batman, it's actually a lot worse than if it had been. If it had been the Bat family who had been murdered and Gotham blown up, I doubt Batman would resort to world domination for the sake of protecting people, and doesn't have the power to make it happen anyway.

Joker was 10000% the winner there. He got Superman (The man who Batman looked up to for hope) to kill an unarmed prisoner. This changed Sups, it changed the way Batman saw him, and eventually, it changed the world.

One of the best Batman beatdowns was done on Joker in Snyder-Capullo's Endgame. They were literally killing each other but Batman had the last laugh in that panel. For Supes, the Manchester Black beatdown was one of the most satisfying.

The fact that in the entire comics Joker was nearly untouchable with his plans, prep time, etc and only in the very last few pages we get Batman to take the upper hand and Joker to squirm made the moment even more delicious.

9:03 Now this one, imo, is the best on this list. Snart shows what he is capable of, and does it in a chillingly efficient way. Not only was the skid-mark insult a zinger, his response of "naw" just sells how little he gives a hoot about this guy. Then he adds the two legs line? *chef's kiss*

Wally West and Magneto's were flat out cruel! But my favorite is Spider-Man vs. Kingpin. Spidey's always joking and flipping so it's easy to forget just how formidable he is. Kingpin made that mistake. That was a helluva fight and the psychological damage was worse than the physical. Here's an idea, what would your top 10 be for most entertaining fights? I would definitely put Deadpool vs. Bullseye in there. (Be the meat)

My favorite isn't from a comic book but from the hbo spawn series. Al encounters Chapel the man that killed him. After bitch slapping him for a bit he uses his powers to force Chapel to experience all the pain and death he caused over and over again for the rest of his life, he also forces him to feel what it's like to be buried in a coffin eaten by maggots over and over too. Chapel is now a broken madman who begs Al to kill him but he says something like "No I'm gonna make you live longer than you want to".

Midnighter is one of my favourite superheroes. Pretty much every bad guy he gets his hands on meets a very brutal end. The books are called The Authority. and there is his stand alone comic called Midnighter respectively. There was one scene where he's trying to interrogate a guy for information. What he does to him makes that scene from the Punisher movie (the one with the popsicle) look like a day at the spa.

My favorite Batman villain take-down… Ss from the 70s, and the villain is a simple thug. Scene: It’s the anniversary of the death of Bruce Wayne’s parents. It’s the night that most of Gotham’s criminal elements know to not go near crime alley. A family of three is assaulted by a group of criminals. Batman intercedes. then pursues the criminals out of town. (Note: One of the things that makes this story awesome, I think, is Batman never speaks a word.) At one point one of the lawbreakers fights Batman into a stream, and holds the caped crusaders head under water, long enough, he thinks, to kill the Batman. (Hooray… 2, 3, 4…) Then Batman’s hand shoots out of the water, grabs the malefactor, pulls him under the water to where he and the Dark Night Detective are nose to nose, with Batman smiling, then you get an awesome panel with the wrongdoers’ head snapping back, Batman’s fist which has delivered the blow, and an arc of water coming off his head. The whole story, in my opinion, is poetry, art, and that “take-down” is a favorite. As always, thank you so very much for the videos. Just want to ask the hardcore Dr. Fate fans out there (I'm just a casual every-so-often collector/reader): *Is Nabu really that close to being a villain, if not one outright?* This isn't the first time I've seen warnings being made of him going sour/too far, so I just want to know if that's really a core concept to his character, or something more modern in terms of comic book history. Nabu rides a very fine line between hero and villain in my opinion. At the end of the day, Nabu represents order, and maintaining order no matter the consequences. While this does put him on the side of good most of the time, Nabu can very quickly become tyrant who will put his friends and hosts at jeopardy to attain his own goals. I feel like this side of Nabu has been explored more in recent years with good examples being the above mentioned Constantine Future's End as well as Injustice

@@Top10Nerd your wrong, nabu would inherently kill innocent people if it meant bringing order. He is without a doubt not a hero nor is he a villain but if he was to be truly considered one he would be an anti-villain. A Villain that does good things. It's only because DC paints nabu as more of a good person in things like the justice league cartoon and early main stream stuff but most of the stuff Nabu does is heavily tyrannical and unfair. He would subjugate humanity if he decided that would bring humanity closer to Order. The whole Idea of the "Lords of Order/Chaos" is that neither side should ever be on top because neither side is good nor evil, Order exists to bring balance in chaos and chaos cannot exist without order. : \ ehh tangent blah blah later Nabu isn't much of a hero he is more of a gigantic asshole who sides with Heroes due to them bringing order rather than being good.

Kingpin getting beat down by grey hulk. Its still one of my best laughs I have gotten from a comic book. The whole time the kingpin thinks he is the alpha and nothing can stop him so its all the more hilarious to see the big man get bodied like weakling with relative ease. Even kingpin looks completely flabbergasted as this happens to him.

He successfully turned Bruce's best friend into his worst enemy who racked up a bigger body count than the Joker ever could dream of, all resulting in a dystopia world 100× worst than Gotham ever was.
