Someone is reported missing in the UK every 90 seconds, thankfully, most of these people are returned home safely, but some people fall through the cracks and remain missing to this day. The UK charity ‘Missing People’ found that the most common reasons for adults to go missing are, diagnosed or undiagnosed mental health issues, relationship breakdown, dementia, financial problems and escaping violence. There are however some cases where none of these factors apply and people disappear because something terrible has happened to them.

Thank you for all of the kind comments everyone. I worked extremely hard writing this episode. I hope the families of those mentioned are happy with the information presented in this video. It is so important to remember that these cases feature real people with real lives. Thanks once again Ty for giving me this opportunity.

I think they should have still searched that landfill the minute they figured out his phone was pinging in that path. The numbers "not weighing enough" is not an excuse because they realized the phone was in there at least, and they could have found the phone and phones can be crucial in a missing persons case. The police really bungled this case and should be shamed.

Poor poor poor Corey 🥲 We educate our daughters about the dangers of alcohol and not being in control ( at least I have done) but we don’t do it enough for our boys and we assume that “they will be ok”, that is not always so. Tell your children and gd children that they can call you at anytime and from anywhere and you’ll pick them up no questions asked. I do it with mine, I want to have them around as long as possible. RIP Corey. ❤️

Well they could have probably said it differently. Not saying she deserved to die because she didn’t. However having multiple affairs with married people definitely puts you at risk and it’s definitely horrible behavior. People need to understand that. You are literally putting your family and their families futures at risk. It’s one of the most selfish things you can do.
@heatherpolley8501
@heatherpolley8501 Жыл бұрын
They would have to prove it wasn't true, since they never sued it likely was true. Unfortunately when you do shitty things you will be judged for them. Think of how disrespectful she was to have one affiar with a married man let alone multiple ones. Also it would he relevant to the case many times people die or are injured for engaging in affairs. Not saying she deserved to die, but she did put herself at risk by being a shitty person.

I live in Colchester and also went to college at Colchester Institute. I used to go to karaoke nights in an Ipswich pub - we would drive in, park up and walk past the door of serial killer Steve Wright during the time of his killings, we were completely oblivious!. People stopped going out in the area (including us) due to the murders, the pub lost trade and closed. I know someone who worked in Bury St Edmunds when Corrie went missing. The media paint him in a different light to those who met him. Apparently he had lots of women on the go and was not a nice drunk.

Lady Lucan...Was a gem 💎 and her children treated her like nothingness throughout their life and her last days. Their son wanted that sought after stupid LORD title and he's got it now. Sad state of affairs when people can't accept the truth over titles and money.

I guess most people think that married people are a no no. But it really does not matter if she was with 1000 married men this should not happen to her. And the tabloids in the UK are so often so discusting i cannot understand how those people can sleep. I understand that an affair is relevant for the investigation. Mostly a historical thing. Houses which are not already old (many are Victorian era) are built on the same spot as older properties. However, where once there was a simple path weaving between houses, there is now a road. In fact, many such roads are now 1way, because they can't be made wide enough for 2way traffic now cars are so large

It's way more likely it was one of the men she was having an affair with. He likely spent the night and was going to take her to work and for whatever reason he killed her. But yes someone knows, and the cops likely suspect the men, they just don't know who they are to question them. They likely shared about the affairs in case anyone who knew a man she was with might come forward with their information.

I've been following the Lord Lucan case for years. Prior to her death his ex-wife maintained a website that covered the facts of the case and her side of the story. She was estranged from her children to the point that she wasn't even invited to one of their weddings though it took place walking distance from her home but she never went into details on her site as to why this was. According to her she was blamed by many of her husbands aristocratic friends for driving him to desperation which caused him to attempt her murder. Also that she was shunned by London society because of it...the entire story is rather sordid but still fascinating.

And we're baffled by the way American prison sentences are often multiple times the perp's remaining lifespan. Big numbers might sound impressive, but it's kinda pointless when the perp can't possibly serve 500 years.

#1 No family or friends that could of taken her to work ? Taking a cab is far safer than walking in the dark alone and well worth the $$. Unfortunately it’s very costly these days to remain naive about how violent society has become ? Violent predators are given leniency in sentencing. The recidivism rate for these monsters is over 85%. This statistic alone should keep you on guard when making decisions.

I'm confused about Suzy's case. Did she drive a Fiesta or a Focus? Also, you said at first that she left her handbag at the office, but then you said her handbag was found tucked in the Focus. Is that a mistake on your part or the info available? Bc you said in the beginning that she drove a Fiesta, but the police found a Focus with her handbag in it??

It’ll never change that men can have as many sexual partners as they want and no one says anything. But if a woman simply has more than one, she’s called rude names and is blamed if something happens, because it’s too much to ask to expect men to control themselves. It’s always the woman’s fault and she’s looked down on for having a sex drive higher than that of a rock. Women are still expected to be prudes. It’s almost 2022 and nothing has changed.

If you are referring to Claudia (from the 1st story), she appears to have enjoyed the seduction of being with married men in secret. This may have been exciting for her, but it appears to have been deadly. This is like if I drive 90 miles an hour downtown. This may be exciting, but it is likely to be my last at bat. This has nothing to do with gender. A man can face great dangers in sleeping with married women. You do not want to face an angry husband.

That's because when a hussie spends all that time puttin' that ol' tail up in the air and letting every dog in the neighborhood get himself a sniff, that's time that should be spent on dishes, supper, kids etc. And to think, there is a good man out there that could use the help of a nice obedient maiden but you can't hardly find a wholesome dutiful broad because they all went harlot and camming on that filthy chaterbate website and being very unlady like. Maybe they should let us men start breaking out the switch or the belt and get em back in line. Maybe if they have them legs striped with a leather strop a few good times they'll learn to keep em shut.

@@debraforrest579 I'm not worried. I got my female trained. She came to me a sight pitiful but I worked her over with the strop and my backhand for a few sessions and now everybody comments on how polite she is. Dinner every evening. Work boots cleaned and clothes laid out every morning. Bathwater drawn. I just recently let her start going to town without the tracker on her(my) car and she's even got the privilege of a little allowance I gift her out of my check so she can buy the spices and cleaning supplies she loves. I just got her a new vacuum cleaner for Christmas and an imported dust brush from France so she can brag to all the other females about how nice her cleaning supplies are.

@@debraforrest579 I had a female call the cops on me many a moons ago(one of the few that got outta line that far) for striping her with my strop when she sassed me over a parking spot. Anyway, the officer showed up and she thought he was gonna arrest me but instead he took off his belt and handed it to me and told me to whip the bad raising out of er. I had her whimpering and a yipping all over that parking lot until I had that little Ellen turnt back into a proper lady(maybe people will see that I am not serious. I can't stand the controlling macho man who thinks a woman is a piece of property or a 'Pet' and 'gives permission' to do things and even though he has slept with 25 or 100 women be still never lets her forget about the 5 or 10 dudes she has been with)

Upon rewatching this video, I'm still confused about Suzy's case. I understand the misunderstanding of the car, i guess...bc you later said a Siesta. But if Suzy left her handbag at the office but was later found in her car in the glove compartment and the only thing missing was the key to the house. Then wouldn't that point to someone in her office? Bc nobody else would have a reason to take the keys. Your recap of Suzy's case is a mess, bc finding her handbag in her car and the key to the house for sale missing, is a huge oversight. Not trying to throw shade, but that discrepancy makes a huge difference. I'd rather this help, then point out an error to the recap

I never bring my wallet to a club , actually I’ve never done that since I turned 20 (and could go clubbing) in the mid 90s I put my debit card in my bra and my phone in my pocket. Just bringing your card is pretty normal and has been for at least the last few decades. Most people I know don’t go around with a wallet anymore at all. Now a-days I have a cardholder on my phone. Can’t remember the last time I used cash. It has to be 10 years..

Ipswich has always and remains to be a bit of a dodgy place, especially at night on your own. As far as I know in recent years the police have become much more vigilant there, fairly recently a school aged boy somehow got his hands on a gun and shot his 'friend' in the face, in broad daylight, the boy survived but you can imagine what that does to a person. It's tragic but sadly not unexpected for people to get attacked or go missing there

If it’s true that people are more interested in cases where a “privileged” person is concerned, it could be because it’s more of a mystery due to certain perceptions. Perhaps we are more intrigued by the cases in which the person lives a “normal” life, from a “normal” family because they are less likely to be victims of violent crimes in the course of their daily lives. They don’t come from high risk backgrounds, they abide by the law, don’t engage in high risk behaviors, are reliable in their daily lives, don’t engage in criminal activity and in other words: have more in common with most of us, so we identify with these types of cases as it seems to be less obvious as to the motives of their perpetrators.
