Yeah definitely it's great! Something like a Novi would absolutely wail in this tunnel though they're in America. Becky looks always the business in the machine, not sure about anybody else but I've a feeling she'll probably get that sound going as the minute it's handed over to the Stig. It's easy to believe that Becky's the one starting it up!! But keep up the work👍.

caiocr14 I've seen em once I think. VisioRacer's a good one, he's always finding these quirky machines with the obvious BRM and Auto Union V16s, but he finds these unusual cars with racing, whether it's 2 stroke or a boxer. And he technically narrates these documentaries on here while explaining the history and the specifications as well, very very different.

Fun fact: the M120's firing order (1-12-5-8-3-10-6-7-2-11-4-9) is two straight-sixes running in opposite directions: one bank running 1-5-3-6-2-4 front-to-back, the other running 1-5-3-6-2-4 back-to-front - this is another element to why it sounds so good, along with the exhaust manifolds. BMW's V12s all the back to the M70, by comparison, were just two straight-sixes running side-by-side.

Not a big fan of aftermarket 'loud' exhausts for the sake of being loud. I like engine note, you can still hear a beautiful low growl coming off that V12 over all that trumpeting, sounds much better in my opinion. 🤷♂️.

this old mercedes for me it´s still a recent model i have the coupé ,600SEC V12 and after 95 they start to call it CL600, but bought a diesel version of this body with 4 doors, don´t know if there was a SEL that had a longer feet room in the back as in the previous model, that also have a 300 turbo diesel from canada with the finishings sold in the U.S. of A. and a coupé with the 300D engine ,in europe only gasoline coupés as the 230E or C230 and also a 500SEC V8, i colect them, paid next to nothing for most of them as i have 96 cars in my colection, at the time i don´t remenber other so well built car in any brand, the only that got away was the 500E made by porshe but have the C124 3.0L v6 ,the coupé of the now called E-class

My same thoughts too ... Top Gear is a rubbish name, not Brilliant Exhaust.

Came here for this comment... as soon as she said "rubbish name" I lost respect for everything else that came out of her mouth. "Brilliant Exhaust" is clean and simple, just like a beautiful exhaust note.
