Never have your hand under the blade when stripping romex. One slip and you’re sliced.

Appreciate the comment. Can you cite the NEC code for that?

Plus he should have used the GCFI circuit that's already in the bathroom.

This isn't true. Outlet has to be at least 3 feet from a sink edge but there is no code on how high above the floor it must be. Practically, you should aim for at least 18 inches but that's not a requirement. Lotsa "code warriors" in the chat...

To be picky, by code the washlet outlet needs to be on a dedicated wire from the panel. But, IMO as long as its on the GFCI like you did its fine bro

I think code will not allow it if it's not connected to a GFCI circuit which should already be in the bathroom. This guy is doing this wrong. He should have asked his local code enforcement if they will allow what he's suggesting here.

I don't know if this is accurate. I believe you are speaking of "NEC 210.11(C)(3)" which indicates that there must be at least 1 dedicated circuit for each bathroom. I don't think this applies to ALL outlets in the bathroom. And the guy above saying it has to be a GFCI breaker; I don't believe that's true either. NEC 210.8(A)(1) This section seems to indicate that you just need GFCI protection -- not that it's required to be an GFCI outlet vs. GFCI breaker.
