@@shelleebeans4840 same here! I will groan and laugh at the same time… I call his jokes, "bad dad jokes." Because they are the kinds of jokes that dads like to tell kids,,, he actually reminds me of one of the scout masters in my kid's BSA Troop… he likes to tell bad jokes like that at the beginning of every troop meeting… I swear he tries to see if he can make each week's joke worse than the previous week! I am going to have to share the "what's Blue and doesn't weigh much," joke at the next troop meeting… it should easily upstage the scout master's bad joke for sure! :) lol

Hey Ace, quick question for you! I'm attempting to cast moulds of polyhedral dice and can't figure out how to make a clean cast without blemishes or an uneven edge where the mould is topped off at, do you have any suggestions? I appreciate any help I can get!
@resinAce4 жыл бұрын
Hi, it's good to see you're keeping up with the hobby! I am often asked to do a dice video and it's on my 'to do' list. I want to try and find a technique that has not been tried before so I don't just replicate the tutorials of others. For now I would refer you to channels 'Rybonator' and 'Dark Moon Dice' who both have excellent dice tutorials that address the issues you face.

how do you decide what type of resin would be best for different projects? do you just know from experience or do you have to research? also where do you get your resin from? :)
@resinAce4 жыл бұрын
Hi, epoxy resin is defined by the depth to which it can be poured without overheating. Art resin can usually be poured to about 10mm deep, casting resin can go up to about 50mm deep. You have to check the datasheet for the resin to see how deep it can be poured. I am currently using art resin from www.resin4art.com

Hi, I started out making prop replicas from my favourite films long before I started doing KZbin. My first video on the channel was one such project. As a beginner you just need a small bottle of art resin and a silicone mould to get used to measuring, mixing and curing the resin.
