The Hang Son Doong Cave in Vietnam is definitely a place you can go - i dunno about now- but 5 or 6 years ago I was in the area and while i didn't do Hang Son Doong (due to cost- it was around $3000 usd for a 1 week expedition and i was backpacking on a budget) I did do a 2 night into the nearby Hang En cave which is around 3rd largest cave in the world with the same tour company that does Hang Son Doong for around $300 if i remember correctly. - Oxalis adventure tours - check em out they are great and the only way to see Hang Son Doong

@@bneskylights1152 Actually Antarctica's area, without ice, exceeds Australia's though most maps don't show it accurately. Those same map projections also exaggerate the size of Greenland too. As for Antarctica being an iced-over archipelago, that is true, though isostatic rebound modelling Antarctica, showing it if the ice were removed, still has a contiguous land mass quite a bit bigger than Australia. Worked on one of those models when in uni. Great place to visit if you don't mind either uncomfortable flights or rough seas.

pretty much every peak in the Patagonia worth climbing, is crawlimg with climbers. some of the top international clombers in the world, live in the patagonia almost all year around. there are camps of them.

I live in Northern Chile, and have no frigen clue what he is talking about (pronunciation aside). I have spent the last 20 years, flying over it, driving over it, riding horses through it, hiking all over it. In fact, I doubt there is a major or minor peak left in the chilean patagonia that has not been climbed. The area is extensively mapped (argentina and chile devote great amounts of resources to bickering over them).

FYI , I buy and sell land in Chile, and have done much of that travel with professional surveyor's and lawyers in tow. I might say however, there is a lot of land where the property lines are inaccurate, mostly because no one has been interested in measuring it until recently. we are however talkong about a few hundred meters, one way or the other unaccounted for. not a third of a country missing.

I think you messed up Muchu Chhish with Gangkhar Puensum in Bhutan. Gangkhar Puensum is the tallest unclimbed mountain due to Bhutan banning climbing the holy mountain. Muchu Chhish is in Pakistan and is unclimbed due to its difficult environment.

You can still visit Son Doong Cave. The Vietnamese government only allow a certain amount of people in per year as to not damage the landscape. I have been to Hang En Cave, which is a slightly smaller cave in the same rock structure as Son Doong. The photo you used at 6.09 is of Hang En, not Son Doong.....
