Signs That Reveal You're Really Mentally Strong You don't worry about issues that are out of your control. ... You accept and face the problems that come your way. ... You can say “no” without regret. ... You are patient, and know that dreams don't come true in a second. ... You set the necessary boundaries. ... You don't complain, you act.

Have to be careful about that first one. I've realized that if you say no to being invited out too many times, they will simply stop asking you altogether. Sometimes it is better, and imo shows more mental strength, to do something you don't necessarily want to do, because of the intangible benefits.
@villasjoydegeraldv98994 жыл бұрын
One thing I disagree is that to show your emotions. And let yourself vulnerable. Yes, you are right to express our emotions it is because we are human and it is normal that way. But choose the emotions you want to express at the right time and right place. It is because negative emotions can only distract us from conversation, in public or whenever we are. It is because once we are mad, we speak or do a lot of bad things and it is not healthy for our conversation, to others and for ourselves. think about it.

Being sympathetic or empathetic doesn't mean forget yourself, love yourself too, endulge yourself, it's okay to be there for yourself. Soooo thank you for the video. I truly appreciate it

The only part I struggle at, is the "self-comparison". I do compare myself with my older version, but I compare myself with others more. I just can't stop doing it. It's just been put into my head, since I've been compared by my both parents from childhood to till now with someone else who probably performed better than me in a certain field/work. Whenever I do it, I always try to remind myself that even if I'm progressing slowly, I'm at least progressing. It's not a race, life isn't a race. It's not about achieving first, it's just about achieving with your own pace. But I still fail sometimes to convinve myself. And that's the only part where I feel like I need a major help. I mostly changed myself, my way of thinking, my close mindedness and my mentality by myself from my mistakes and wrong decisions. But this is the only part that I'm unable to change.

Yep. Since I got involved in Philosophy my whole life changed. I saw through my relatives and personal family. They detested me for it. Tried to put guilt in me. For a while it worked, but the more I learned the more I left them behind. I became a creative intellectual. I felt pain like I was wrong, because it wasn't how I was raised. Now I see it for what its worth. Just them and THEIR EGO SATISFACTION. ITS HARD TO BE A GENIUS. GOOD LUCK. Oh yea, don't be ashamed of success. They will try to bring you down. Don't fall for it. Its just jealousy and insecurity in their part. If one goes against the family rule system it will be hard, but don't give in. Be yourself and pursue your goals and forget people.

I strongly disagree that "mennally" strong people will say "no" to an invitation from a friend (so that they can sit on their ass rather than going to the theatre) BUT a strong person knows that friendships must be worked on and be willing to do the heavy lifting?.... sounds more like confused advice. Strong people understand that you should treat others (especially the people you like the most) as you would like to be treated. Don't refuse to make ant effort for a friend but expect them to go out of their way for you. Know the difference between self confidence and narcissism. If you're not socially awkward, then you can (actually) have some control over how most people feel about you. Some people are bitter and jealous, but, Most people will like you better if you're nice to them. (Read the classic book "How to win friends and influence people"). Good old Dale Carnegie knew what he was talking about. And PLEASE don't always let your emotions show! I'm so tired of American women crying about every little thing! It's not strong, it's divisive.
@Stand-UpComedyClipsOfficial4 жыл бұрын
No, mentally strong people care more about what they want to do, and they don't let other people's emotions control them and make them do things they don't want to do. If my friend invited me to a party, and I don't want to go then I won't go. If he invites me to a different party and this time I do want to go, I'll go. If I want to strengthen my friendship with someone, I will hang out with them more, and try to get closer to them. If I WANT to. It's pretty simple if you don't overthink it.
@apersonwhoexists._.55792 жыл бұрын
I highly disagree with your point , The point is strong people value there emotions and don't always say yes to everything, They don't feel guilty for saying no cause they value their emotions Most of the time you do not have control over how people think about you, If you have a made a mistake then some people are gonna despise you and you need to accept it, rather then feeling anxious about it, you should see what you can change and accept what you cannot change And emotions need to be let out, it might be little to you but its alot to them, so I think it's quite rude for you to say that, not tryna hate
