On this episode of Grinding for Giants, we brave the heat to chase huge bass with topwater frogs, ducks, and more! With heat advisories issued, the challenge to overcome record high temperatures was real! Try giving a second or two before setting the hook with those frogs / ducks. I know I'm guilty of not doing it most times, but when I do I more times than not hook up. Just trying to help. Love your videos. Keep those lines tight, Ladies

It really is an interesting place and one of the few where you can target both species not far apart. We’ve caught some nice smallies down there

There is a saying, Stop, Drop, and POP! As soon as they take the frog, stop reeling, bow or lean a little forward, let them take the frog down and start to turn then SET THAT HOOK!!

Nice work ladies. Count to 3 and set the hook on 3. Youll hook up more often. And if you ha ent tried them yet, get yourselves a Berkeley Swamp lord popping frog. They're legit.....

There are so many brands we need to try but off of the limited amount we have used, booyah seems to be a great choice

Not much better than bass on frogs! Big glide baits & big rat wakebaits rank up there as well....Try the new hollow body mouse from Lunkerhunt...it's even fuzzy, almost like fur....they look great

Count to 5 and than set the hook And you keep missing the fish because your reeling into it and not setting the hook
