I love listening to Torah Class AND I love the topic of "dinosaurs" , a group of ancient creatures called by a new, modern name coined by Richard Owens in the early 1840's. They are described in the Bible, both land and sea, in the book of Job, called by different names. My daughter enjoyed harrassing her very worldly science teacher with facts regarding dinosaurs, their time period, and the fact that mankind did indeed live and walk with them. She'd come home with the most hilarious stories of the class laughing at him all red faced and stuttering at pictures she'd show the class of the many evidences showing that humans and dinosaurs existed at the same time. That was 7th grade. I still laugh at the memory of her describing the look on his face when she walked into his 8th grade science class! Sorry, just a bit of funny memories. I love God's word and always encouraged my daughter to share her faith wherever she was, including public school. Now, thankfully she's grown. She homeschools her son due to the current evil propaganda being taught in today's American public education system.

Yes, Yeshua and the disciples quoted extra biblical sources (including the apocrypha), BUT they NEVER sourced, acknowledged or attributed it to scripture. However, many of those books were removed because when the rabbis started removing books and breaking 1 book into 2 books like Samuel and Kings, other books were pushed out of the cannon. The New testament has the same kind of errors as the apocrypha and even in the tanakh so we wouldn't be able to consider any of it inspired or scripture. But when we understand that it is man that makes errors, we can rightly divide the word with precept upon precept, line upon line, and eat the meat and spit the bones.

Thank you. Yes. The Hebrew word Torah translates into English as instruction or as instructions. And it is not necessarily limited to the first five books which in Hebrew are called Chumash. When you pronounce the 'c h' use a guttural, from the throat h sound. Similar to the CH at the end of name of Bach. Johann Sebastian Bach the great composer. In German the CH we see written is pronounced the same way. Torah can also mean the comprehensive writings and teachings that come from God through the Hebrew people. That would include the books of the Prophets and other writings that exists in the Jewish lexicon that many Christians have never looked at or studied.

An interesting study is to look to see where Paul and the Apostles got their teachings. Some say Paul got some of his teachings from Pagan poetry. Some also would say there are a bunch of New Testament teachings found in apocryphal writings. Jonah Barnes says, just because it was written a long time ago, doesn't mean it was the first time it was said. This says to me that Jesus and his apostles had scriptures outside or beyond what we have today as the Old Testament. It's most important to have spiritual guidance when reading to find what is actually God's true word.

"Close but no cigar". I'm 10:20 minutes in. I know you are trying to do something good. Maybe something important. Maybe it's a great start in the right direction. But there are already a few errors of interpretation that will, as it is the beginning of your theory, take not only the viewers but yourself astray - unintentionally. As a first very simple example, you said tanach "is a made up word". The possible implication is that tanach is not an acronym. It IS an acronym. Such as: 'The word acronym typically applies when the resulting thing can be read as a word; for example, radar comes from "radio detection and ranging" and scuba comes from "self-contained underwater breathing apparatus." (that quote is simply via google). Here's another tentative idea that you present but at the beginning. Torah - you allow for your flexible definition as not 'law' but sort of 'teachings'. Yet you don't use the most common definition of Torah which is "instruction(s)". You are attempt to claim that you are doing the good and necessary deed of showing that Torah is the only legitimate word and concept for the whole of the Five Books of Moses. According to that book in the last sections in particular as Moses 'instructed' the Hebrews how to proceed without him and who of the living Tribe was to lead. The next phase would begin after Moses death and as the Hebrews proceeded to cross the Jordan River. Actually the Hebrews had been there before. Recently as the scouts. Prior to that from the time Abram/Abraham and Sarai/Sarah and there group from Ur entered The Promised Land ('God said to Abraham' more than once where to go next such as Caanan and Be'er Sheba, Mt Moriah, etc.). Judah was one of the sons of Jacob. 'judah' means 'gives thanks'. The Jew gives thanks to Hashem (a way of referring to G_d as h'shem i.e. the name). That specific name is central to Torah. In a phenomenal array of ways. As you mention the word 'coke'. You did not mention that was a nickname for cocaine i.e. a 'secret' ingredient in the secret formula giving Coke it's unique flavor. There are several other words that you use in the first 10:20 minutes. Including when you choose to use 'Jew' or 'Hebrew'. There is a fluid history of the words Hebrew, Israelite, Jews, Jewish People known as Am Yisrael in transliteration from the Hebrew language. The 'doctrine' books you refer to such as from Prophets and Writings as well as what comes later from Oral Torah. However... the Oral Torah was also given to and from Moses during the 40 years which was not 'wandering'. The Jews, Hebrews if you like, were shown when and where to move to on each stage of the great journey. It was a process of Moses giving instructions including explanations i.e. the Oral Torah that was later written down and which is a living, growing, developing source of Wisdom and a guide book for living. But it is ALL based firmly on Torah i.e. the Five Books of Moses. I think you have great intentions. But you definitely need to Teacher that is a Rabbi i.e. a bona fide, fully practicing Jewish mentor. You are already going astray within 10:20. To be quite specific you need an Orthodox fully practicing Jewish Rabbi to guide you. You have a gift but you need to transform it so that what you say and teach is more accurate and precise than the 10:20 indicates.

If there is a New Testament, there much logically be necessarily an Old Testament. Scripture calls it the first testament. That said, I admit I'm splitting hairs. I think this man does a very good job explaining . But i think I not use the Scriptures & use “The Covenant “ ( The Way ) ! Like he said not even the writers like Paul Shaul , or Timothy or John , Mark ever saw or it was published till a century of later & till they organized & selection of the New Testaments ( may be better to say Testimonies of Yeshua ) as Revelation does too ! All gr8 but at 20.50 he states only OT scripture but Peter states 2peter 3 v16 that people twisted Paul's words as they do the other scriptures. NT writings contemporary to the apostles was regarded as scripture

The greek word means writings but only used as scripture when referring to the tanakh. So when he says "the other scriptures", he is actually reffering to the other writings that were being written and dispersed in their time outside of the tanak.

Old testament is tanakh, new testament is Gospel and last testament is Quran, as Lord said in Quran 5:68 " Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord." "Traditions just as important as Gods Word" Just as it is now in Our day. Finally!. TRUTH. My religion refused to listen to me on this subject, but I cannot deny what God has given me to see within His Word. for me to go back to my religion i would have to throw my bible away, lest i call God a Lier. God himself called it Good (only one was Good, God. ) the light sent to a virgin earth (undefiled by man) and just like after conception there is a separation from the waters of the Father and the mother (firmament) and the dry land came forth from the water of the mother and named "Earth" notice capital letter "E" as a Proper noun. It's a picture of a LIFE. Not just any life. it's The Image of the One to come, Jesus Christ. I see Christ in ALL the Torah as His Life plays out in the image of obedient (Howbeit, in sin and NOT perfect in it) men whom God set aside. to follow Strick in His commandments so that the Knowlege of God and the Messiah would be known in time. Until that day came, when Christ was born, and the Torah can be seen in His LIFE as it played out Fulfilling the Torah to the Letter. Brother, I cannot unsee this Truth. The True Image of God cannot and was not the creation (man/Jesus Christ or animal/golden calf) but the Image came in the likeness of man. the Image of God is the LIFE within that man. and that image is seen in all things that have Life within it. God. Threw Christ we join back into LIFE, haven fallen in sin our life ends in death. But in faith 2 become 1 as we join to the son in His Life Eternal and Home once and for all.. Paul says that we are not under the law but under the Grace of God. The gentiles were never under the Torah laws.

Paul is not God or the son of God. .Jesus was many years on earth. He taught from the Old Testament.. Why would Jesus change his own word..isn't the word made flesh..is God confused, that he changes his word..not so. keeping God's commandments is not negotiable .Jesus fulfilled ..is a testament that we can try to follow his example

Paul understood what is meant by resting in Jesus. The yoke of Jesus is easy. The yoke of men is hard and there is no salvation in it.
