This was their last performance before the voting was closed, so it all came down to this performance. ...and god _damn_ did they kill it. I still watch this performace over and over and get chills everytime. The rest of these comments pretty much sum up my opinions, so I'm out!

Alexa Planje I am watching this in 2017, and noticed nobody mentioned this one except for 1 commentor! LOL 😂 It was cool to see a reaction from someone who was unprepared, just like the Judges, audience and Americans who were watching at home were! It must have blown enough minds earn them the win, since this performance was the last one voted on by viewers (Americans), and the group with the most votes for their 12th performance was the winner. So, I consider this the final performance...

Mitch was so young when this was filmed that he basically missed his high school graduation, and even with that, they only were all able to get together the day before auditions.

That was a incredible performance, turns out that Mitch was their secret wapon, Scott literally killed it, the ending when he is really going for it.... They are just so mind blowing. I'm glad you are enjoying these performances, it's where it all started and really emocional for all of us. I am loving your reactions! There are still 2 performances left. And on the Sing Off, not during the competition, after they won they were invited to sing a holiday medley and they also did I Need Your Love, it would be awesome if you could react to these videos. Both are awesome, the Holiday Medley is my favourite of all time.

They were all so stressed and tired before the performance. Scott lost his voice that day but was able to sing for the performance! Mitch and everyone else were amazing!

So glad you finally got to see that lol! Literally everything was perfect in that performance. Everyone's voices were spot on--including Scott's which is amazing since he had completely lost his voice prior to this. You could sense the "this is it, this is our last shot" feeling in this song and they really, really came through. And Mitch killed it dead and gone (by Justin Timberlake) There is another performance but it's probably the weakest they've ever done in their entire career tbh...and it's completely understandable because they were physically and emotionally exhausted by this point. It's still worth a watch bc truthfully Mitch still sounds amazing in it lol, but the winner had already been determined prior to this (although PTX did not know the outcome yet) so this didn't actually count for anything.

they were superstars from the very beginning, and I'm so glad their brilliance is being recognized worldwide now -- 2 Grammys, a platinum album, and a Billboard number 1, just to name a few. it makes my Pentaholic heart so happy to see other people appreciate them through these reaction videos.

The final performance was of David Guetta's "Without You". I've always believed that for each winner of these talent shows, you can usually identify a moment that makes you say "Yep, they just won!" and the moment is often a semi-final performance rather than the final. This is one of those. Another was Jordan Smith's version of "Somebody To Love" on the U.S. The Voice.

Hey Alex, I've been a fan of your reaction videos for quite a while; since you started Once Upon a Time actually. I'm also a Pentatonix fan and I had a couple requests, they're actually Superfruit videos if you don't mind. 1) Defying Gravity - Superfruit from the play Wicked, 2) Empire Medley - Superfruit from the TV show which I've never seen but I still enjoyed the medley alot, and 3) Happy Little Pill - Superfuit it's a cover. Then It becomes silent mid word, and we hear no other sound except Mitch, singing in his "angel voice range" for the first time in this competition! Then Scott steps back in and brings it home with an extremely powerful lead! It was mind blowing! America voted right after the 12th performances by the remaining groups. Those votes decided the winner. Mid-show. That was the last performance to be voted on. It's a good thing that The winner had already been decided, since the 2nd performance that night, #13, by Pentatonix showed us an exhausted, lackluster group of people that were "too pooped to peep" and proceeded to give their worst performance of the entire season. Thank goodness it didn't affect the outcome of the competition one little bit!
