I love the way she says, "I can describe right now what he looked like." And then the piano describes him completely in a couple of bars. ^^

She is as amazing today as she was in 92. As we all age so gracefully with age like a fine wine. She is even more beautiful today. Seen here last year for my bday in north Carolina. Amazing.❤❤

In all seriousness, though, I have to say that someone like Tori really inspires me, because she is a bit strange, and it's inspiring to see someone own their weirdness, especially as someone who is rather strange myself and can be a bit self conscious about it.

Back then??? Come on man. Have you seen her live lately. She blows the dang roof off. If you can’t feel that at one of her shows, ya’ll can’t feel. She’s a powerhouse to this day.

This is likely the greatest video to my knowledge that has been ever shot, about any given musician. It's thoroughly entertaining from head to toes. Tori Amos's such a genie playing the piano while talking her thoughts. These pieces of her being interviewed and her going digressive on deep topics are splendid.

Don't get me wrong--I love Tori's music and I listen to her every day. I just wish that she was as daring and spunky on the piano now as she was in 1992.
@datura19839 жыл бұрын
you have to realize though as a musician i can tell you from my experience of being bang bang bang on the piano (inspiration i drew from tori) that you can only do that so many ways before it gets old. yes it sucks, but she composed many songs that way. every thing changes otherwise there would be no more music.

There are many things you can study and learn on the piano, but feeling the music and giving yourself to it, without being able to really know what is happening, is where the game is truly at.

I am just getting to know her and she's my perfect counterpart for we all possess our genius most of us don't realise it, a lot of us ponder how it's too be and a rare few of us are given the power just out of diapers. I will marry this girl and we shall sing and play whole lotta love for one another every night and never tire nor fret over it. expressing ourselves creatively playing as if it was another character conjured up from our free imagination and XI instantly composes with pure genius I've seen this done elsewhere too but on rare occasion see you soon my love Tori

It’s so easy to learn lots of instruments I am a pianist and keyboardist no less talented, but I’ve learned so many other instruments…. Music for thousands of instruments, and it’s very easy for me to carry melody lines…. Also, Curtis institute is a little bit more prestigious than Peabody and it’s funny how the music industry and the people that run it really don’t know anything about music they really don’t that’s why I’ve never even tried to get a record deal they would never even listen to my music, even if I even tried because they don’t listen to music. The Tori and this may have met some person that was in that industry and then she became famous because it’s a business, so is she really really gifted us a composer, and an arranger… People who don’t really listen to music think that she’s gone or goddess they don’t listen to anything but commercial music and commercial music is very stunted. I really do think that she has talent… No more talented than lots of people that are nsigned that I listen to you from all over the world… This is a business, the claims that they have the best music in the world, and the best artist in the world for no reason whatsoever, except that they believe that they know more about music and everybody else in the world and they don’t. The people that run that industry wouldn’t know a good melody line is it is it to them in the face or anything the quarter progressions or anything about harmonics they knew nothing about music or timbre timbre of voice.

I had the same thought... It is also a very typical american topic... where sexual education seems to be very little hence the sky rocketing numbers of abortion... instead of talking about abortion it's better to talk about education and prevention.. I totally embrace ownership for women of their own body. But I even more embrace education for prevention. After all... statistically young mothers and also young abortionists in life do worse in health, wealth and happiness, then women who sidestepped the whole question of abortion by ... education... ;-) And I am not saying this as a christian. I am saying this as an educated person in sociology.
@josenavarro81596 ай бұрын
But as a woman you have to have that right to say no I don’t want to have a baby. It is your choice. No soul will enter a fetus that’s about to be aborted you know.
