Have you thought about getting an LED sign to mount to the back of the RAV so you can display "tornado ahead" or similar to passing traffic? Might prevent a few people blindly driving into a rain wrapped tornado.

He should, with all the thousands of $$$ of electronics he has. Why he went to Patreon. To support all the $$$$$ video equipment. Most US chasers aren't in it for the video quality, they're out there chasing reporting conditions to locals in the path and render aid, regardless of color saturation and pixels and other "camera" stuff 🤷

At 54:10 as the tornado touches down if you tilt your Head to the left you can see the stretched out mouth of someone screaming in the clouds, eyes, nose, mouth, forehead and cheeks 😍 it's as if the sky itself has come alive and is screaming in pain at the sight of the destruction in its Wake..I've seen nothing like it in all my life but once you've seen it you can't unsee it

Big hail seems to bother me more than news of possible tornados anymore. Back in 2017, we had softball-sized hail wrecking a swathe of North Texas that did massive damage. Our house took a significant hit, but luckily from the direction the storm came in, it shielded the cars in the driveway from being total losses. Can't say the same for the roof, which is why I remember the year so clearly. Roofers were Everywhere the rest of that year. Shingles and roofing nails in the roads became a big problem. The worst bit of that was the local weather stations completely missed the ball on forecasting it. One of the meteorologists (the chief at the time) called for pleasant sunshine and zero chance of rain. Not surprisingly after the event, he disappeared and was later found broadcasting in Chicago.
