So im a brit and was over in fort Stewart Georgia with the national guard doing an exercise.we got 2 days off in savannah. We were there less than 20 mins, and the heavens opened like i have never seen. Rain got heavier and heavier then turned to hail. The hotel manager was running to all the rooms and opening them telling us to go inside and get in the closet. Being bemused brits we justbstood there in a "f off mate" attitude. Turns out a tornado passed the other side of the hotel we were at. Few trees uprooted and fallen and glass and dirt everywhere. First experience of a twister and was blissfully unaware it was there. We got changed and went to the steak house opposite lol

Hi Jim, I just wanted to thank you for your show in Perth last month. I had been waiting for two years to see you perform live and you did not dissapoint. I was really impressed and thankful that you performed for two or more hours for us which was fantastic but it did play havock on my bladder lol. Where I grew up we would very rarely get a proper tornado, but we always got terrible sand storms we called ghiblis. Those were annoying. You’d be caked in sand. Hair, eyes, and when you’d shower it would just be tons coming out. Our sand also would stain because it was a red clay type.

I live in Hamburg Germany and there are never Tornados here .. except for this one Time 10 years ago maybe .. I was on my Way to work early in the Morning when I saw this Giant Tornado couple of hundred Meters infront .. i turned around and went straight back where I came from.. 2 guys died that Day .. one was sitting in a Crane and the other one got hit by something .. glad I followed my instincts

There were several smaller tornadoes circling the main tornado and the entire thing was rain wrapped and the outer ones weren't seen. They were heading east away from the tornado when it turned and they figure one of the smaller outer tornadoes caught them. Prior to Tim, his son Paul and the other Carl Young being caught there was the Discovery channel crew had their truck rolled off the road as well.

The owner of the Acropolis (a strip club) in Portland OR owns his own cattle ranch. It is the cheapest place in the city to get a steak. When I worked there T-bones we're like $6. That was 2003 though. We got a lot of to go orders at the back door because of the prices.
