@@Rona44 It's not like Disney and Ford were the only antisemites going around. Back in the sort of inter-war years, being anti-semitic was as controversial as preferring margarine over butter. It was much more pervasive than just a couple of industry big-wigs. Maybe that's an aspect of America's - actually, the world's history that ought not to be white-washed by scapegoating just the two most famous people of that era.

When I was 18, the age for drinking was indeed 18. I don’t remember what year they changed it. I went to Hunter College in NYC which I started when I turned 17. There was a pub in the cafeteria that served beer and wine-they opened at noon. I was never much of a drinker; I smoked pot in the cafeteria and everywhere else in the school. Occasionally some coke, but in those days we used a small bottle and a tiny spoon. Did a couple of toots. Didnt Hoover a gram up at a sitting! This was the ‘70s. I looked 15 when I was 18 so I was always carded at clubs-where I went 4 times a week to hear live music. Rock punk new wave... the clubs and after hour clubs were amazing. A bunch of years ago two young Brits asked me (on the subway) where they could go to hear music. After a short conversation, this is when I was informed the drinking age changed. These girls were 20. I felt so bad for them. They weren’t the sort who would use fake IDs. I only knew of one club in the east village that had no age minimum (thry didn’t serve liquor). I miss my college days and the next 10 years, where I worked lived and did most activities downtown. Anyone know what year they changed drinking age from 18 to 21?

One of my buddy's from highschool had a December birthday and managed to start buying booze 10 months early. He scratched off the one so if the cashier just checked the date it read as February and the picture matched up. It was released on Laser Disc and that is where people were able to see the "Easter egg" The Animator who drew the scene has admitted it. His name is Colin White. jack missed the most obvious lifehack with plastic bags! Back in the 90's every bag in my drawer was missing the corners. How fast can you untie a piece of grocery bag in the dark stall of a bar?
