Engine still is Surging before engaging blade. Mine is doing the same and was told to take the carb. fully apart and clean. Going to do that and hopefully after cleaning internals will be good as New. Same 20333 model.

I have same mower bought 5 for $225. Cleaned carburetor on honda hrx 217. Low hanging fruit easy one. Clean carburetor changed oil wash sell $380. Best mower I have flipped. ( don't leave ethanol in your mower)

I frequently the same problem and I remove the brass carburetor nut then clean out the holes with a wire. I thought a fuel filter might help, but in your case it didn’t.

That's the oldr one. I have the newer one with the OHV motor. The one u saw last year. I'd actually love to have one of those

I always like the Toro mowers I still have the one I fix that I got for $5 I use alot as my personal mower except I have the big wheels on the back

Nice mower there. Good job getting it going. I had to add a inline filter to one of my mowers because the filter screen in the Tecumesh tank was missing. Those file filters are bi-directional KZbinr in Canada, Bruce Pender recently dissected a old one to find out .

Ha...This one is same as another video you did where you are not cleaning the middle hole in the bowl nut/main jet. Use a wire off of a wire brush for that since it's a tiny hole.

I got myself one of these for $10, it's a 2013 model just like my 20332, needs some work but I got a bargain on it.

What size socket do you use for the spark plug?

I'll bet it has a cracked plastic intake manifold tube, those things are notorious for cracking and causing lean run condition. Briggs should have NEVER started making that part out of plastic, just like the plastic cam gear they started using. This is why I always look for a Kohler equipped toro mower. Too bad there's no more Techumseh! B&S is definitely not the great manufacturer they used to be.

Brush off the bulk dirt. Disassemble carb and place in the dish washer. Reassemble and enjoy.

Are there any brands selling mowers like this with the ignition switch, because it's weird to see something like this legal due to the dumb regulation from the 80's that forces manufacturers to put the break level on the mowers..? Also how come Toro was able to make it like this at the time?
