The Liberals and NDP are fully aware of what will happen in the next election. Their ONLY priority now is to line their pockets and those of their friends with as much Canadian taxpayer money as possible as quickly as they can. The committee hearings have exposed some of their crimes, but we all know what accountability to white collar criminals looks like in this country. Canadians with the ability to move money out of Canada should do so immediately. People in the 50 and up club like myself will never see Canada recover in our lifetime, so we need to protect ourselves. Canada is broken. It will take decades to repair the damage done. Skilled workers are in demand in the USA and their cost of living and taxation is far more reasonable in many states than Canada. I see young high school graduates taking scholarships in the US regularly. They aren't coming back. I certainly don't blame them. Our seniors are treated like sponges by Canada. Squeeze every dollar you can out of them and then tax what they leave, if anything, to their loved ones. Many I know love at poverty level. That's the thanks they get for building and supporting a nation. Disgraceful is the most polite word I can use to describe it.

My fathers family came from Italy in the 50's. My dad had 20 bucks in his pocket and didn't speak the language. After a number of years of working hard and not complaining or asking for handouts, he and his younger brother started a construction company in 1976 and its still going. My brother and I took the reigns in 2006 and grew it 10 fold and employ between 60 and 100 Nova Scotians. We need immigrants, but immigrants with similar values from countries with similar values. Wow didnt know, Canadian ultra-wealthy class sending $460 Billion to the USA to build businesses there (where there is likely a lower tax rate) and supporting American jobs Makes sense, there is very very little incentive to invest in Canada. tapped out work force due to extreme housing and living costs, and overburdened by high personal income taxes, resulting in a burnt out workforce (hence super low productivity - why work harder when youre taxed more?)

PP votes against the interest of Canadians constantly, but since Trudeau has done so poorly, he can say whatever we want to hear and get elected.
