The rebels pushed the union back to seminary and cemetery hills after the first days battle which was a huge advantage for the union because the rebels did not pressure the retreating union forces or the entire battle of Getty's burgh could have been over on day one

just bought both of these, on sale, Gettys for $1.68, with was cool ain't passing that up. And Civil War for $7.00 Bucks, not bad, originally its, like $29 bucks, i think. I am not a pro at it, just wanna learn and have tons of fun. Plus its not Disk Hungary 1 or 2GB. Starting to learn something on this video TY👍🏼 I don't know what all the LiL Numbers means, Icons, but that's why I'm gonna watch a few Dozen YT VID's.

hrm... methinks you overprioritised on the right; the attack you expected from there is most likely the attack that just arrived from the north, putting much of your artillery severely out of position. Speaking of artillery, I would try to advance your far left if I were you; you have the advantage over there, and with units carrying over from battle to battle, taking out enemy guns will give you a HUGE advantage in future battles.

The problem with charging the cannons seems to be that their canister shot is absolutely devastating. I haven't figured out a way around this yet, or maybe you just have to bite the bullet (heh) and take the losses.

Depends on positioning and range, I think. Canister is a single short range but devastating shot with looong reload. If you can bait it out amongst the trees, you should have enough time to get off a volley or two and rout the battery. ...and even if it's not enough, as you say, 'tis worth the casualties... assuming you actually get the cannons out of the trade; short range cannons that live to throw out multiple canisters is a terrifying thing indeed...

Cavalry flanks and such seem to do best with the cannons. I know your fear very well with them cannons and their canister O_o But if you can use them viddettes and such...

Once we get full cavalry (a very [in]famous Custer should be upcoming), killing guns should be easier.
