Another perk of van life, "My van is so big, I'm not going to have any trouble finding it." I just had to laugh because I have a 22 passenger party bus type rig and it is WAY big which makes stealthing kind of hard at times. I just never thought about it being easy to spot at times as a bonus. Thank you for finding the positive!

You should check it out, Ren Faires have so much to offer. Handmade crafts and wares, amazing stage shows, fresh turkey legs (among other tasty foods,) live music and if there's a faire held at a vineyard like mine, there's wine you can sample (if you're into that)

Great video documentary :) and you definitely was a stunner ! We have an amazing Ren Festival in Santa Fe and I have gone every year because its so fun. It looks like you did as well. I enjoy festivals like this as well great outfits and overall atmosphere :) I'm definitely want to check this one at out at some point ! The turkey/emu leg rumor started about Disneyland’s turkey legs and is absolutely untrue. They legally cannot sell mislabeled food. The legs are from Tom turkeys which is why they are large and they are brined and smoked which is why they taste more like ham than turkey.

Renaissance Faires are great! I've been to three, all here in Texas. I think the Texas Renaissance Festival (near Houston, TX) is the largest in the country. I wish I had done van life when I was younger. It looks wonderful!

Other Fairs, well I really enjoyed TRF , Sterling in Upstate NY. and my home fair was Florida Rennaissance Festival in Deerfield Beach, Fla. There is a good one in North Carolina and few others I have been to. There was one that was kind of odd though, totally free with no fence around the center of town park I think it was Florence Alabama.

I remember a couple years ago, everybody in the arena had to hide their turkey legs. there was a falcon that kept swooping down, trying to grab everybody's food. Also there's another guy in clarksville tennessee, that just started building another castle. His isn't nearly as tall, but a lot bigger

If you're rolling thru Louisville again there's a Faire a few miles away near the town of Eminence. You make a beautiful elf - you should look for opportunities to wear it.

Cool video, I'm from the UK and I've not really heard of Renaissance faires over here although there may be some I'm not aware off, some castles etc in the UK do sometimes do things a bit like this though with things like jousting, falconry etc just nothing I've seen on this level it looked like great fun.

Anothre fun and entertaining video. There is a PA Rennaissance Faire each year. I remember attending one some years ago. With the elf ears, you would have fit right in among the elves in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Wearing what looked like a corset probably did not help in the heat. But you are a trooper! I like your comment about giving people compliments.

You looked SO BEAUTIFUL for the Renaissance (sp?) Fair !! I’ve never seen such a gorgeous fairy queen before!! A little advice from an OLD lady/ex sk8er girl? Wear pants when you skate, especially on blacktop. Girl! My legs are mostly scar tissue from wiping out on boards, skates, and blades. You’ll thank me when you hit 40-50 and the arthritis starts creeping in… Have fun! Safe travels!!
