Alex the Bios/CMOS Reset for the Toshiba L450d is under the RAM CHIPS, remove the Ram, then there is a sticker with a barcode....peel it back to reveal a small copper square which is actually 2 small small contacts to form a square about 4mm in diameter, BEFORE touching these tiny contacts together, remove the battery and unplug the power adaptor.

At 3:10 my power button is still attached to the rest of the Laptop, so I don't know if I can remove the lid without snapping it. Any idea where I went wrong? I've followed the guide perfectly. The whole cover comes off except around the power button where it is somehow still attached. Thanks

Sorted, thanks, I'd forgotten a more inconspicuous screw on the underside panel, double and triple check that you've got all of the screws out guys!
