Yeah Erudition has had a horrible track record ever since the first patch Herta and Himiko have been better when PF released and Jing Yuan also got plenty of buffs. I honestly regret Argenti because out of all the physical users I've used he was the 2nd worst physical character I have, my Clara does better, my Yunli does the most damage for my physicals, and funny enough my Sushang (I love her) does even more than Argenti, that's why I'm afraid of pulling Erudition. Also glad to see you back.

they powercrept argenti by yunli. argenti has a ludicrous 180 cost ultimate that has bounce damage meanwhile, yunli can stack to two times, and the only requirement to access it is to get hit, and it's damage, while a bit lower than argenti's 180 cost ultimate, can be casted two times

Rappa is a lot different just because of how Super Break works. She will always be a strong character as long as Super Break is viable (and you're using her vs Imaginary-weak enemies). The only thing that affects Super Break damage is the triggering character's Break Effect, DEF/RES Pen, Break DMG modifiers and debuffs to the enemy (DMG vulnerability and DEF/RES shred). So as long as someone can trigger Super Break frequently and has synergy with the mechanic they'll be viable. Even someone like Himeko is extremely good with Super Break just because she can trigger it frequently with her FuA. A lot different than a Crit carry where their personal damage is based on their own base multipliers.

Personally my aim is for Adventurine. Do I need more damage dealers? Absolutely. But having a new support is going to help me out a lot in the long run. Just hope he shows up on the 50/50.

Not getting Aventurine is like bricking your account, he is easily the best character in the game. Crazy sustain, high personal damage for a support, debuffing, team-wide effect RES and insane synergy with FuA units.

IMO Eruditions problem has always been the existence of Destruction characters (+Acheron) who invalidated most Eruditions (and Hunts) in MoC for most of the game. Very little changed with PF, depending on characters and weaknesses. Eruditions are specialized to blast/aoe, but there is no reason for Destructions (+Acheron) to always have had high dps in single, blast, and aoe.
