You just start another account. Go through the learning keep city below level 11 then when you have 10gold buy a kingdom teleport, leave the temp clan you may have joined, reach out to your main clan and ask them to send a location link just on their border. Select the link then select the space, this then shows teleport. Once in place ask your clan to let you join. As soon as they accept your request you are then moved by game inside their border. I managed this in few days from starting a new account.

i wasted 2 accounts not knowing about the hero trial, now they are built up and i got the genereic hero, that is called bad luck

No, you need to create your account on mobile and the quests shows up only on mobile and it lasts for 5 days :) If you miss the opportunity, it's gone forever.

​@@TB-Valk Unfortunately, not everyone has access to a free hero when creating an account. Not on a phone, not on a PC, not on anything. This is a random experiment by the developers of the game, according to the explanation given to me by the technical service.

To begin your alt account : You only get free hero (avatar) on the mobile environment? If I only play on the PC/laptop I don't get this bonus?

@@TB-Valk oooh thank you, that explains a lot. dumb question, but how do you usually go about the arranged attack? do you ask an equal might player to exchange attacks? do you pay the person for their troop loss? or is it typically an equal exchange attacking and defending?

@@live688 You can ask anyone, I am using my main account to do them :) It is better when your partner has a higher level than you. Your partner usually doesn't attack back, it is either with your main account, or with a friend who is just willing to help you.

Yes, and you also can log on the same account both on Mobile and PC.
