For the doctors, its all about extracting money from the patients. When I had my knee replacement, I slept all night. Physical Therapy began the first morning and again at night for 2-3 days. Once you leave the hospital, you begin go to Physical therapy everyday for the next 30 days except for the weekend. I reached my goal in 2 weeks. I wanted to leave therapy because i met my goal, but they chewed me out and coerced me to keep coming. The woman pressured me to finish the last 2 weeks of PT. She insisted I still needed to go. (Why would a person still need to attend PT when they already met their goal? ) I'll tell you why. Because if you don't keep coming for the 30 days, they lose big money. Its all about MONEY.

Just be darn grateful that you have reached "your goal" so quickly. Many others are still struggling, persevering against odds that you may have no idea about. So I suggest you either pay up or shut up, no offence intended from an Englishman that has virtual physio every two or three weeks and is then left to get on with things and for your information have reached and surpassed my initial goals.

@@TheRealGrandadNo1 bottom line everyone is different. If you are in relatively good shape and athletic before surgery chances are good you will recover much faster than average.
