who knew among all the races in warhammer 3, Beastmen and Orcs! will have one of the most tactical and strategic battles in all of warhammer history? That was a joy to watch, the first match between House People... Seeing two of the most Violent races play strategy and tactic and use plans for attack was a joyous sight to behold!

Regarding the orge bug: a modder told me that CA never coded any knockdown animation for them to begin with so it's apparently intended!

Regarding Ogres, in 8th edition table top Ogres had a rule that penetrating missiles like bolt throwers and cannon balls - which could hit multiple figures in a row - did not penetrate ogres unless they killed them outright. So an ogre has 3 HP and when hit by a cannon ball (d6 dmg) would penetrate no further unless it did 3 HP dmg to the ogre killing it. I always imagined a cannon ball bouncing off mt ogre's belly plate on the roll of a 1 or 2 on the d6. Maybe CA was trying to reflect this table top mechanic. If so it should have only a % chance of not knocking them down.

weird, in the first game of the second series the orc boys weren't worth any value on the tracker even after models were lost when being shot, definitely a bug

Tim got the taste of his own medicine in the first match, getting 3-capped in the last moments lol. Such a dumb thing that Ogres got knockdown damage as a bug. All units should have been taking damage from falling for years. Would solve lot of issues around foot characters. If CA was smart, they'd identify this bug and make it a feature for all units lol.

@Turin Wouldn't it be a good idea to make a "TT Community Bugfix" mod to solve all the bugs you're seeing to be used for your TT tournaments. You already add the new maps for the tournaments, why not have a trusted source make the bug fixes so everyone can play everything ?

Regarding flying capture power. You could always create a mod to fix it, publish to workshop and simply ask all participants to install it. And voila - issue is fixed, and he can be played

CA seem to cook the stats of new releases quite a bit recently, like the new entries come hot out of the oven with too-rockin' stats so you'll be hoppin' after you buy the DLC and play them just as if you'd drunk multiple energy drinks. And I get it, you get that initial power fantasy. Baba Yaga will get cooled off like Astragoth did (I hope). Anyway, great tourney, tons of laughs and fun. Thanks!

If they balanced the Lizard lords and just 1 or 2 units, they'd still not be OP but they'd be SO versatile. The Saurus lords and heroes all need a buff, the Carnosaurs and the Chameleon Stalkers need a buff, and that's pretty much it

The reason that jade lions suck is because in campaign they have the same upkeep cost as jade warriors so they are balanced around the strength of a jade warrior.

I can't help but wonder why in the games with houseplant the opponents started playing different than normal and making lots of mistakes players of their caliber wouldn't, such as giving up units and just taking bad fights leading to a huge value discrepancy....almost like they all talked and took a fall for him since I'm sure they are all friends in same clan.....
