Couple of bits not mentioned. End turn times reduced up to 60%, which is amazing quality of life change. and another lord is added in free dlc for Bretonnia. Personally can't wait to be playing a new snikch campaign.

Jon, is there a reason you arent doing actual series on this? Like... I know a lot of people would have loved to see Ikit claw, abd even more would probably love to see Snitch since your last rat run of the game was with Skrulk who is very, VERY different from either of them. Not to mention Vampire Coast and Wolfhart. Like... Was the series just too long? Are the one offs just more fun? What's the deal my dude.

FYI the last action "plunge into anarchy" immediately gives you the "faction destroyed" message for the targeted faction. ALL of their armies are immediately disbanded, and ALL of their cities immediately go to " rebels" so you can take them at your leisure because rebels are completely passive. You can use this on ANY faction no matter how powerful they are. Yes it's this OP.

How the Plunge Into Anarchy work; Pick a faction. Every Lord, Legendary Lord, dies. All armies, dies. All cities become Rebel. Faction is Defeated and can only return if the Capital is released or rebelled again.

Can the AI use this? Can a player use this on another player in a multiplayer game? Do all of those cities flip to the same rebel faction, or do they split up into smaller one city factions and such?

They need to add/flesh-out more of the old world factions, like Kislev or the Ogres

Also be prepared for clan moulder as the last skaven faction. They have a few different variations of rat ogres, a hell pit variant, and you'll also get some light cavalry or rat packs to hunt archers with/tear apart fleeing units. Basically if you liked the dog units which I really did for undead and chaos, you'll like those.

Don't forget Stormfiends, though they seem more like a hero than a standard unit (an upgrade path to determine their loadout makes more sense to me than having a standardised version). The baseline version is a tougher, smarter, armoured Rat Ogre with options for Poison Wind Mortars, Warpfire Throwers, Ratling Cannons, drill fists and Doomwheel-style Warp Lightning. Also some of them have 4 arms. Admittedly they're a Skryre-Moulder collaboration, but I think they're a safe bet for the inevitable Moulder DLC down the line.

I assume the Deathmaster is either pronounced as (and pardon my phonetics, I have neither a phonetic keyboard near, nor have I actually USED phonetics in years...) [snikx], or [snik?k]. So, in the first case, it uses the ch at the end in a soft g. A hard k sound followed by the hissing of a cat, almost. In the second case, it's the k followed by a very brief glottal stop, and then repeating the k sound. Of course, I'm commenting this at 20:51, so I'm betting the game is going to pronounce its name in about 30 seconds for me, completely proving me wrong!

as much as I love the skaven I really wish some other factions could get some proper love in a ikkit claw style... also cold one knights and such are pretty solid ¬_¬

I agree they've had a lot of love in the DLC, but I think that was because they were in a bad place in the base game - weak slingers, distinctly average infantry, rat ogres are low armor and flimsy, basically no healing options, appalling garrisons in the campaign. They really needed these new toys.

@@ManyATrueNerd true they really had a bad start but now I open up warhammer 2 and look through the roster and its all "Hmm I could do mummies and search for books and get the 1 unit built... or I could wood elf and sit in my forest... of I could go and detonate a nuke under those pompous high elfs and then gun them down with machine guns and lasers as they flee"

Oh, they're definitely good now, but I'd say that the Vampirates, and Dark Elves both have equally strong variety in their rosters, and the Vampire Counts and Tomb Kings have plenty of fun toys too.

@@ManyATrueNerd Dark elves and tomb kings always feel so heavily reliant on the one off boosts in combat and are otherwise just super grindy throw all the trash units at the :( agree the vampirates have great variety and the fun of watching the old tom and ben bloat death episodes is great but I've never got on with the plain vamps :( Some of the older factions could really do with having a once over just to refresh their campaigns and mechanics a bit as all the new stuff, specially the skaven, just offer so much more to do in a game than mass full stack armies and grind :( Will I be starting a new campaign when this goes live? Yes, will it be a sneaky skaven ssassin play through over the me as a teenage dark elf? Definitely >

Urgh. Speaking as someone who likes to play factions that fight Skaven a lot, I feel like they didn't need more toys. Especially more "impossible to actually stop them from using them toys." I already hate those damn nukes. Plus, the AI gets them even if you don't have the DLC yourself, so there's no escaping them or anything.

I dunno. Three Kingdoms was the first Total War game I've watched and played. Everything else that's come out before it, even Warhammer 2, just looks kind of old and ugly. Even though Warhammer 2 isn't that old. The UI looks bad, the battles feel slower to watch, almost like I'm watching classic Warcraft.
