Your videos are so helpful, I want to change the stereo for an aftermarket hu, I gather from reading the forums that it isn't very straight forward but can't seem to get a definitive guide, can you help, any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey there. It can be fairly straight-forward to swap for aftermarket. However, be careful because most aftermarket will not support the additional aerial system that the A4 has, and so you tend to get poor radio reception. Radio reception is the biggest issue. The aftermarket kits often come with a signal booster, but they simply cannot match the factory reception. Bets of luck!

Not currently I'm afraid. We are currently focusing on the A4/S4/RS4 B6 and B7 platforms. We are however shortly about to start additional models, but the C7 is not immediately on the cards...

Hi, nice vidéo but I want ask you a question. Can we change the steering Wheel of an Audi A3 2004 8P Without multifunction by a Steering Wheel of an Audi A3 type 2006-2010 Without multifunction too ?

Hey there! Well, in theory yes it will fit - but it's sometimes more complex. I am not 100% certain on the A3, but on the A4 for example the B6 has single stage airbag system, and the B7 has a dual stage airbag system and the airbag is a different shape so to change the wheel you need to change the airbag as well, and it will not connect direct so needs to be modified - and then there is a possible safety issue as the airbag may not deploy. I'd check the forums for more info on this subject as I am not sure on the A3 (only A4). Best of luck!

When I replaced mine, I needed to pop the steering angle sensor off the back of the clock spring and put it in the new one. Just a tip for anyone doing this job.

I followed your instructions step by step but when i put it all back on after changing my indicator stalk. The steering wheel is now clicking and it appears to be coming from the squib, do i need to replace the squib or is it a simple fix?

Hey there! That's strange indeed. Is the clicking every time you hit full lock, or does it click several times whilst turning the wheel? If it;'s the original squib then I'd suggest stripping it down again and refitting everything and carefully look around as to what could be causing it as you rebuild. It could be rubbing on something. Thank you - glad you fond it useful :-) The B7 steering wheel into B6 is quite a popular upgrade. The main issue is the B6 is single stage airbag and B7 is dual stage. Two schoolds of thought: a) connect both wires on B7 airbag into B6 single, or b) connect just one wire. But this upgrade has not been tested and so there is no proof yet as to whether the airbag will deploy or not. Nobody is going to do the upgrade and then go out and crash their car to see if it goes off ok (i.e. test it!). So there is a safety concern that maybe the airbag will not deploy. So be careful with your upgrade, and do bear that in mind. We do not offer any remote support I'm afraid.
