Especially with that many spectators, that is just downright reckless. At least get some guys to spectate at the blind corners to wave their phone light or something, but better idea is to go oldschool and run CB radios since phone signal for group calls tends to be spotty out in the sticks. Also, somebody really needs to buy-in on convex mirrors on a course that heavily used, my old high school drift punks had mirrors on all the blind corners of our mountain.

Why would you not have spotters with lights and radios? On at least every other corner or have some people block off access to the road? (If it's a short one way in, one way out canyon road). You could have people with radios with signal boosters if the normal cheap Chinese ones don't work. Or have everyone honk when someone spends. Money run it sounds to me more like a dummy run if you ask me , like no one has a walkie-talkies to let everyone know to stop the race and let the people who’s doing the money run go first until they finish and, secondly for spotters need to be at the end of down and up hill race And thirdly, if that walkie-talkie came in clutch and you say that you got an accident or tell people to slow down, I’m pretty sure everyone will listen. I don’t know how do you guys operate in the situations but lesson learned and use a walkie-talkie next time. It makes it so much easier at that point instead of using your phone that doesn’t have cell signals up in the mountains. shoot might as well pitch in for some money for walkie-talkies. So the next time you do a money run please be sure to prepare next time.
