At least badger wasn’t in pain and didn’t suffer. He died with people beside him and he wasn’t alone. A shame he passed in such a horrible and heartbreaking way without his owners beside him but I’m glad he didn’t suffer and had people working to help him.

That kind of lump is what my late Lisa had but hers was a lipoma. Massive lump on the ribs. We never operated because of her heart condition and her age at 12 & 1/2 that was a good life for her. In the end it was her heart that gave in.

I've been through this with my own little boy...nothing more devastating than when they collapse in surgery ..but it's only because you don't want to give up on them 😢

I said from the outset that this little dog wouldn't make it. It's still sadder than sad, though, that he didn't survive the surgery. But it apparently had a good life. It is heartbreaking no less.
