one thing to remember: pc 98 had no danmaku rules, so those bullets were not intented to look flashy and have a complex pattern, they were intented to outright KILL.

She always uses her attacks in the same order, so just memorize the order. In the case of 1:00 it's right after the orb attack.

Mima is my favourite boss in Touhou, but I like to qualify her as having the "Sephiroth Syndrome": Awsome character design, dialoge and and aura that just makes her a treatening villain, but the actual boss fight is just way too easy... It's a shame; I'd love to see Mima with improved, bad-ass spellcards. Now if only ZUN would just bring her back...T_T

I do hate to say this but both IN and HSiFS laughs at that statement. Both were way easier than their predecessors. And frankly 6 is still one of the most ruthless for me, probably thanks to the strange idea to lock stage 6 behind normal or higher difficulties. Probably why ZUN's never repeated it.

@@handlessuck589 resources, remember LNN is no miss no bomb, LLS gives a good amount of resources to get past things you don't like whereas in LNN you have to do perfect, even on the hardest parts, it's why rank management is essential, that's the only death in a certain LNN attempt, a simple streaming section, however it's played differently to allow them to lower the rank, if they had streamed it instead later in the run they may have died instead from the inflated rank -I'm terrible at formating geez- either way I wouldn't say I'm the best to explain but I hope it's atleast a satisfactory answer

most of the people that assume the mima fight is easy are usually very wrong and have never played touhou 2 the hitboxes are about as big as the bullets (those gaps in mima's final phase are super unforgiving), most bullets throughout the game are very fast and sparse, the giant gaps of space are likely to cause you to fly into a stray bullet (with no ability to focus), and you can't death bomb
