The overall coverage is pretty decent with a few glaring misinformation by the narrator. Explanations are done in a pretty basic manner to give the audience a general idea about the series.
Also quite glad to hear that ZUN is still sticking with his usual progression of the games; Music to Characters to Game progression.
Also to note at 2:26, the stream died for a brief moment due to an influx of visitors viewing the stream. Fortunately, it only happened once. From what I've heard, the missing parts basically talks about porting Touhou to consoles like PS4 and PS Vita.

It looks and sounds like the man in the video is American, but living and speaking another language will confuse even native English speakers. Japanese doesn't differentiate between gender in pronouns as much as in English, so using 'he' instead of 'she' sounds like it'd be an easy mistake to make. So don't worry, Seija and Raiko aren't secretly men. As for the monster known as a Gensokyo, they have to make a show and they have a limited time frame. This was interesting regardless and you can't expect them to learn everything about it and recall it all with 100% accuracy. Remember when you first got into Touhou? Bet you weren't a supergenius on the subject then, were you?

Sorry, but i'm calling this BS. Just imagine if they were talking about any other (and more known) video-game franchise. How would anyone react if they said that Sonic is actually an eagle? How would anyone react if they said that Pikachu is a hellhound with electrical powers? These mistakes are cringeworthy and there shouldn't be any excuses for their non-professionalism. Nobody in their right mind would make a show about something they don't know, unless it's just pure sensationalism like in this video. The interview was interesting, though.

They called Reimu by her name, and then called her a danmaku immediately afterwards. That's not a matter of time constraints, that's just dropping the ball. Spending a good 10 minutes having some intern run over the script with google open would have fixed quite a few of the issues people are having. Idk about all of you but it's something really rare and great to see in places like regular tv shows. Definitely agreed. ZUN is more or less a recluse (less so nowadays) so just being able to see the inside of his office, seeing him actually code Touhou on the fly, seeing him mess around in the music composition software, we wouldn't be able to see any of that without NHK setting this up. Honestly it would be a daunting task for anyone to cover the Touhou series in such a brief amount of time without prior knowledge lmao. Though they definitely could have benefit from just a few more google searches...
