There is so much on the estate they didn't cover. There is, for example, Knockdrin Stud. It's still on the market but for much less, and about 800 acres smaller.

That's an exageration, $1mil per year would get you plenty of staff and contruction touch ups, including insurance you're looking at $1mil.

The forest will call for management and you can't refuse to spend money for it, as you will be obligated to tend to it and you won't be allowed to do with it what you want either. It's a forest not a garden, the government will tell you what you need to do with your forest. The same goes for the "game preserve" government regulations will call on you to employ a hunter to keep the wildlife in check. You have to make sure that nobody drowns in one of your lakes and the list goes on.

You underestimate the costs of commercial farming and the pre-requirements of the land to remain competitive in your chosen produce, vegans think it's easy and pops out of any old soil like dollar bills lol. You pay quite a bit for taking on a host of responsibilities. The forest needs tending to, the "game preserve" will have its obligations. If someone drowns in your lake, a fire burns down half of your forest or someone is poaching the wildlife in your "game preserve", you will be held accountable.
