This is gorgeous! Question. Is it possible to hook up a combo washer dryer instead of the stackable? So that the top could be used as a closet? And maybe a bay window on the back wall? It would be a great place for some plants!

Absolutely! A vented combo W/D makes the most sense, as it dries clothes faster, and leaves the space above for a hanging rod closet. Just get a 110v. And the bay window is an add-on, you can order when you buy your home. Last I heard, they were $2,500 and offer space for a window seat as well as the expanded view! It would look wonderful in an Austin, and would make it feel larger.

Thank you Randy & Tom good informative video. Nice to no you can change outside plug up to a 50 amp. I had that concern. As if I were in it I run oxygen machine and Cpap machine nightly and blue out 30 amp plug on camper in Florida with air conditioner running for my lung condition. Thank you and God Bless all of you❤

you are inspiring, I don't have the funds now, but I am working on it. you have inspired me to do what you are doing on a smaller scale. your ideas are great. i do my own stuff most of the time, getting some experience in camper remodeling, gutting and still working, and it has given me so many good oopsiies and wow WTH but not giving up because it's all I have, and its going to be my tiny. the owner sold to me without letting me know there was water damage, thus the gutting. lesson learned paid too much and upside down, but I am continuing until done, then I am aiming to get some land and use your great ideas and encouragement. Screw those who always question and ridicule. Let them try to achieve what you have, I'm going through same, have to start over again but I'm learning a lot, and still learning from all these great minds on youtube. Thank You

Quite snazzy, I like. Now, I have always wanted to see you guys do a more custom home with more higher end finishes. I am a big fan of the siding and the roof, the simple details. The solid white walls are nice with the wood trim but a more transparent white wash (even tinted a custom color) on the walls looks even better to me. It is bright and nice in there, you need some shades. 😎 If I was ever in the market I would explore a little more into what you guys have to offer but I just enjoy watching when I can.

You can order it with a propane tankless. They would mount it above the toilet in the bathroom, and you could store the tanks on the hitch.

Very nice. I've been completing inside of my 8x14. Amish built entire frame, put on siding and metal roof. With all 2x6 frame, size of interior of my entire home is about the same sq ft as just the LR of your Austin model. 🤓 As you know, Randy, can be made as beautiful and homey as any home. Just curious to know whats behind the main door, is it the wall for the bathroom where the toilet is or do you some space for a little closet?... AMAZING looking house btw!

The toilet is behind the opened front door, with a shower facing the toilet in the bathroom. ITH always leaves enough room for your legs when seated, and to step out of your shower, dry off and get dressed in the middle of the bathroom. I saw a video once where a homeowner built a hanging rod closet mounted to a rail on the ceiling, so it could slide across the length of the bathroom. It could hide over the toilet while you take a shower, then slide over to hang inside the shower to use the toilet, and the hanging clothes were accessible from the front, facing the kitchen, when slid to the center of the rail. She had a stackable W/D and the sliding hanging clothes closet for her daily use, with more clothes and shoes in containers under her living room day bed. You could also use the storage loft for seasonal items.
