Very nice house and property. Based on hours of looking at websites (over past 3-4 months on Silver coast), and knowing that you guys would only accept a deal, and weighing the fact that you already told us in older videos that posted prices are always over and lately the market has not been great (and sometimes builders have to liquidate) - all of that considered, I’m going to say you paid 250k Euros (that’s the kind of price I expect you guys could have negotiated). Maximum 300k. The latter only because maybe you plan to build tiny homes for glamping and got some kind of pre-approval. I see you running retreats when you all teach your stuff in person and then have groups stay in the house. How is Airbnb accepted in Portugal? They are being challenged in many cities these days. Luckily your audience are your guests so you can create your own portal. :)

I suppose what I was most curious about was your thinking/ ethos around property investment. I'm a dual passport holder (one is the EU) so I don't have any of the foreign ownership issues to contend with. A number of your video comments have resonated about Portugal. Lisbon even big flats are close together, resale isn't as easy in Portugal as it was when you flipped houses in the US and it takes much more time. Maybe I missed a roundup video or its in your course. I did watch the top 10 video about buying in Portugal. I suppose I'm wondering whether Portugal is worthwhile from a property investment standpoint and why? For rental, resale? Is it a long term investment or short term potential? Are we talking holiday rental? Where should you invest for retirement, versus investment? What if its just me? No kids, looking for where I can build community, which I feel is not just about expats or meeting locals but feeling a part of things and being involved? Is there a place where you can be a little rural but close enough to local life you won't become a hermit crab? Do you have advice for digital nomads with money to invest not just people who have achieved FIRE? What is a good ethos for property investment? You mention in this video, questions will shape content... so I added all the stuff rolling around in my brain, no expectation of a download here. (Sorry, last question for now - What about Porto? Coimbra? Cascais? Did you fall in love with the Alentejo region and never travelled very far north to experience these cities?)

I'm from Portugal and our salary here in Portugal is one of the lowest of the EU, we has a people don't have buying power its that simple. So only people with money from outside PT come here to buy property because its very simple its cheaper then other country's and they can afford it. @@OurRichJourney Hi Christina, yes, I know you cannot disclose the location and price now, but I am hoping that after you sell it, it will be ok to disclose- We had stayed in Praia del Rey area in 2018 and the beach there was beautiful, but we are leaning towards Algarve (stayed in Lagos that time). Don't know if we would be able to afford there though.
