Fleetwood probably makes one of the best if not the best door systems. Needless to say, they are expensive and if you enlarge the opening to accommodate say an 18 foot opening in an existing house, major structural work is required. Needs to be engineered, restructured, building permits, inspections, labor. $20,000 and up. Pocket doors can hog interior space as it seems in this case. Nice to have, we have several and rarely open them even on the nicest days which are rare here in Las Vegas. Too hot, too cold and too windy. Once has a baby rattle snake in the house but were able to get rid of it quickly. You get the dust, bugs, moths and everything else that belongs outside. It it is extra living space you need in that house; consider glassing in part of that covered patio.

I’m not sure why you’re calling them French doors? A French door is with two door handles not one single door unless I was lied to my whole life.😂

So without scrubbing the entire video to find the reference point, a French door(s) is basically just a door with glass in it. "double doors" are literally just two adjoining doors that open. So "technically" if you had two glass doors, they'd be "French DoorS". Hope that makes sense... Now I easily could have messed up myself. I film "floor-by-floor" so it feels like you're walking WITH me instead of making it PERFECT and room by room with cuts. Downside, I have to speak for 10-15 minutes straight without a script. So I tend to make mistakes and mispronounce ALL THE TIME since it's difficult to remember your marks for the camera and recall everything. But hey, making fun of me is 1/2 the fun right! ;)
