Plenty of room in that yard to putz around in more than one vegetable garden. That is a great house. I certainly would have plenty of visitors.

Oh man, this place is crazy. I absolutely love that terrace/balcony. Not sure what I'd do with almost 5000sf, but for those that need the space this is great!

If I still had my art import business from the 80’s-90’s a place like this would have been perfect. Tons of rooms to sort and package goods for sale. And a ton of space left over to live. 💪🏼

Monticiano nearby is a really nice town, and the house looks like amazing vfm. The barrel-vaulted ceiling was lovely. Seems a world away from here in rainy England.

It was a truly beautiful day I shot that. Today however… 🫣 and with time change the sun is setting now at 4:45! But yeah, normally the colors here are amazing.

Main living room should be that work shop on ground floor while that living room on the next floor up--could be a drawing room or a library or a billiards room or a study or a bedroom. And the garage could become a Ball Room.

Nice tour Brad. The rooms are all huge! I’d gut the first floor and open it up into a huge great room with kitchen and formal dining room. You’d have to add bathrooms that are accessible without going up stairs. The garages I would convert to in-law suites for mom and suegra. And add an elevator because the house is very vertical. Lovely place. It would go for over $1M here in Vegas.

Suegra!?! Man I got one of those too! 😵‍💫 lovely woman…. She can give you a look that would peel paint off the wall! 😆😆

Nice! It looks like the house across the road was almost identical, but I think the 1st floor terrace is on the opposite end. One of my friends in San Diego remodeled a house, and his Sicilian father built the fireplace. We tried to use it once. It smoked up the house. He supposedly knew what he was doing. It simply did not draw right. Maybe a bird, stork, built a nest on top of your chimney. 😅😂 Ciao Brad. Tell Olivia hi for us.

Maybe! I need to get it fixed. I found a gigantic pile of firewood on our farm. Would be nice to use it!

I like this property 😊. House just needs some reconfiguration, take down walls, update stuff, etc.

I was thinking one bedroom turned into master bath and closet. Just 50/50. That’d still leave you plenty of rooms and give 2 full and 2 half baths. Not a HUGE deal in my opinion. Probably less than €50 and some sweat equity and this place would be dope.

Humongous place! Lots of possibilities. The room I liked the most was the one with the beautiful fireplace. And charlie and kona 🐕 owsome! What breed are they again brad? They have to be part poodles, right? The best of two worlds. Hypoallergenic, low shedding, very intelligent ❤

Bernadoodles. Poodle and Bernese Mountain dog mix. They are way too intelligent for their own good!

When I beat myself up for being disorganized, I will reflect on the storage areas we have seen in some of these homes.😉🤭

Would a property like this allow you to take down walls and have more of an open floorplan? I don't remember if you mentioned the disposition of the furniture. I know a lot of it is family storage so likely to go, but can you comment on that?
@BradsWorld
@BradsWorld Жыл бұрын
I am guessing you could negotiate on the furniture to mostly stay. That is usually the case when it is not a primary residence. This isn’t a historically significant building in that but has big frescos etc so I am pretty sure you could do major remodeling inside. If it was structurally feasible of course.

This house is very nice but just not my style. Besides, it's not exactly what I am looking for. However, the woodworking shop would be nice to have. I would have to bring all my equipment from Houston. The price is a bit too high for my budget. The best part are the dogs! I have 4 of them myself.

Remember it’s always shown as the “Asking” price. My friend is moving here in another week, I showed her new pool house on the channel about a month before the reply. It was titled something like “My Bestie bought a House in Italy!” Anyway, she used a moving company from US and got a 20’ ocean container that even fit her BMW car and paid €12,000. It’s easy to find furniture here unless you had something like a family, heirloom or personally significant to you. I wouldn’t bother bringing it. But for all your other personal items or woodworking tools, and all the rest of it it’s not a bad price and that is a lot of space.

It's a nice home but not exactly a Farmhouse. Still, a very good deal for the money.

You are correct in catching that. I was driving that morning to see two properties and mixed them up. For sure a city house. Well…. 😬

I want to congratulate you on to well-raised dogs. You don't see that so much anymore well at least in the states, the movement here is oh that your animals be their animals don't try to discipline them to live in the world with other people and things. It's ridiculous, animals if you bring them in the house and children need to be guided and how to get along with the rest of the world.
