i had a baker jeff lenoce deck with pink griptape back in the day and personally i didnt like the shape or skate it that well. im from england and fell in love with Blueprint decks especially the pros decks as the team decks were a different feeling to me or shape. now i havent skated in a while but i last time fell in love with Flip 8.13 decks and never tried a 8.125 but tried 8, 7,75, 7,5 when i started.

Great video! I had the opportunity to visit Paul's workshop, with Sean Cliver last year. It was super cool to watch them sort out some upcoming Strangelove decks and after that, Paul offered to help me make a board. Using his Create-A-Skate template, I designed and cut out the (my) ideal "Zip Zinger" style shape, which was AWESOME! I picked a cruiser so I would have it forever. As a carpenter myself, and OG Schmitt Stix fan of 35 years, I was definitely nerding out. It was fun to poke around in his shop too. I asked a lot of questions and participating in the process solved a lot of mysteries. It was an incredible experience. I got the board custom screened by @rochambo with a picture of my cat, Bowie.🥰

My favourite woodshop since I had a Element Natas deck back in 1999!! I just love the kicks in the Professor's boards & the pop too. Quasi, WKND, Meow, Free Done, older Habitat & Element all work so well for me. I still have my old Natas decks because I have such fond memories of those days skating & I swear it was the Professor's boards that helped me improve. I also still have a AWS Dill deck from around 2009 that was only skated a handful of times. If I could choose only 1 woodshop to have boards made it would be PS Stix. Thanks for this awesome live tour Ben & the Professor!!

@@DarmokAtTanagra I live in the UK & some US brands are using a different woodshop to their customers in the UK & Europe. Toy Machine are now all Chinese made here in the UK. I never had the chance to try a PS Stix Toy Machine. Brands like SOVRN & Skatemafia are also PS Stix in the US but here in the UK they're made by a Spanish woodshop called HLC & aren't the same quality. Quite a few brands have jumped from PS Stix to BBS during COVID as PS Stix had to follow COVID guidelines & couldn't produce what was needed. Habitat & Welcome moved over to BBS & just aren't the same imo. I heard that Quasi is also moving production to BBS which is a shame too

I actually understood the printing part. Im an offset printer. RGB is red green blue CMYK is cyan magenta yellow and black. I used CMYK and those are the colours that produce every tone you need as little dots on the surface on top of eachother. I think this heat transfer method is the best atleast its the easyest. Screen printing takes time because you need all the colors seperately printed on top of eachother and equipment needs to be cleaned all the time etc..
