Yeah I definitely blame Emily for my love of hognose! Lol 😂 I liked snakes anyway but I thought they all had to eat live mice. Lol 😂 Hognose faces are just too adorable though. I don't even care if I have to feed an occasional live now. Well I care but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to keep my snakes healthy and if that means feeding a live mouse to get them eating than that's what I'll do.

I don't even know why or how I like snakes when iv had multiple encounters in the wild where a snake jumped hissed or tried to strike at me , I remember being like 5 years old out eith the family for pinic near a river just playing in the water when a snake jumped out the rocks . it made me almost piss my pants... a heart attack yet I'm here wanting to get a snake as a pet despite literally not having a single good experience with any of them .. weird

Seeing that reptile room genuinely made me happy. So many breeders are of the opinion that it's okay to use smaller spaces so you can maximize your output. But even breeders need proper care, you can't squeeze them into any space just because it's more efficient from a business perspective. It's always nice to see people who give all of their animals proper care. Also, I have those exact same dog bowl water dishes for my snakes.

What a cool video/tour! That was all really neat! Watching Mike Rowe on Dirty Jobs really got me interested in "behind the scenes" type stuff and I always find how things work like this fascinating! I don't have reptiles and haven't had any of my own, though my parents did own a small pet shop when I was a kid, but seeing those cages had me geeking out! Such a cool configuration! I used to raised rodents, mainly guinea pigs, though we had a couple of rats briefly and I also had a little mouse, years after my guinea pig breeding days, and I could just imagine some of the more dexterous rodents, like rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, etc. really enjoying a setup like that!
@Debora_9x Жыл бұрын
Some of those things are not just used for reptiles so it was pretty cool to see certain things actually being made or assembled, when you see those kind of "behind the scenes" it just blew your mind. Btw, even if I don't own reptiles/snakes myself, those cages with the hideout bin at the bottom were pretty wild! As always thanks for the amazing content you bring us guys!

Love those enclosures with the hole and they can go into the rack container at the bottom. All Rich needs to do is make a cover for the tube so he can keep the snake in enclosure or rack container and that would eliminate the snake playing hide and go seek when you need to handle the snake or clean the enclosure.

@@ansellexotics I'm in Tasmania, so I get Blotched blue-tongued skinks. Which I think are the most attractive of all the patterns. Being able to duck underground would probably make her feel so much more secure. I hope he really does create them for the Public!!
