yeah, or know the country you're visiting. there are some countries where the culture just suck, as in not as liberal as the western countries.
@imwaytoshort6 жыл бұрын
Mike Carr Exactly. It's the same in other countries aswell at times. If you are white the local people assume you have money. It's definitely a con in this situation. They were on an arranged tour that other people will have done yet we didn't hear of other people arrested before this. It's definitely a scam to get money.

I like how some of you direct the blame on to the Cambodians that they cons and shit.Well let the tourist arrange sex parties in all your churches we will see how that goes .you people are just ignorant AF
@TDLover11406 жыл бұрын
Cambodian Pride! The carvings at Angkor Wat and at other temples are of apsara and their poses are of dances, not orgies. There is a traditional dance based on their poses. Anyway, Cambodia recently instated stricter rules around religious sites, including what to wear and how to act with monks. The rules were set to ensure that foreigners will show their respect toward Cambodian history and culture. Cambodia has seen a huge rise in tourism in recent years, which has brought a lot of rowdy tourists that think they can do whatever just because they have money and because everything seems cheap.

Altair it is in the Old royals house. it was in their roof carvings if you will look closely you will see. try to take a picture and zoom it. it's not unusual actually, they do those to all in their buildings. they said that lightning will not struck it if there is kama sutra carvings.

Yes! Go to Cambodia! Make a Southeast Asia tour. The naked Apsaras are stone carvings of ancient times since about the 12th century. Back then nakedness wasn't a huge a problem lol. The traditional dance, Robam Apsara is portrayed by the pictures on the walls. Obviously they don't dance naked lol. Apsaras represent the heavenly angels coming to bless the people.

The carvings in Angkor Wat are not orgies. A lot of them are religious stories, myths, and records of the King who reigned during that time.

they're lucky they didn't get killed or shot. tiff said near Angkor Wat so could it be Siem Riep maybe? anyways i remember going to Cambodia with my family to visit our family there. wish some tourist understand that they gotta watch what they do or say. Also what david said about the red head. Man a lot of European, Australian and basically a bunch load of white guys go to Cambodia trying to find a wife. plus a lot of them are pretty rude man. i still remember getting approach by some white guys from the UK who was speaking English slowly and loudly to me. so i remember returning the favor by speaking English even more slower and more louder. In which they apologize and try and crack up jokes to me about Cambodian to me because they assume i was one of the Chinese or Korean tourist. Geo too you should go to Cambodia! it beautiful really is i cant wait to go back again myself
