went to Columbia 8 in Osaka a week and a half ago and the owner/head chef, upon learning that we were Singaporeans, asked if we came to his place because of a certain youtuber. (Also asking us if we knew this youtuber personally). Seems like many visiting Singaporeans have told him that they learnt of this place via youtube!

Today we went to Columbia 8 for curry then to Ekimae buildings for beers and delicious snacks. What fantastic recommendations!! We managed to explore Osaka castle in-between. Thanks so much, we never would have found these spots without your video. 😊

ghib, the motsunabe is crazy man. i just had it and it totally blew my mind! Probably the best thing i’ve eaten in osaka so far. Anyway here’s a tip for those looking for this. Google map says it closes at 11:30pm which is wrong. they close at 10. I know because the first night i went there at 10 and they were just closing. Had to come back again the next day. But oh boy was it worth it! Also this place is cash only.

It really depends on the restaurant- high end places would be no problem but casual places would depend on each restaurant. Either way, it’d be Better to learn how to place request in Japanese. Good luck!
