TOVE LO's music seems so much more meaningful than the average pop star, she writes about love, drugs, heartbreak and anger, it shows in her songs, I get bored with most pop stars on the radio today as they all sound the same, over=produced, safe, radio friendly songs. I discovered her in 2015 because of Habit but I stuck with her throughout that whole time and know that’s a true artist. She deserves so much more recognition. I wish I had known her when this came out but I saw someone comment somewhere else and I’m not good at remembering the exact words but they went something like “Music has no time, I’m sad I didn’t discover this when it was released but maybe I didn’t need it back then. I think it came to me at the moment I needed it the most”. I think this song came to me at a time that I had needed it the most which was in 2020. Won’t forget it that’s for sure

Saw her live in Toronto last fall (vlog is on my channel if you want to check it out) and I have to say that she's quite the performer! She came on the stage with so much energy and it lit up the entire house. What I love the most about Tove Lo is that her lyrics are so honest. If you get an opportunity to see her live, do it. You won't regret it! My decision to go to her concert was spontaneous and now I'm left wanting more. I can't wait for her next album.
